Fantastic experience. The owner is lovely and encouraging. The bike hire was very affordable and the bikes and the seat were very comfortable. Was great having the saddle bag to put our belongings in. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Super nice guy, excellent and flexible service and you can communicate about everything over WhatsApp ( +64 28 434 0871 ) which I found extremely convenient :) The ebikes were well maintained and worked perfectly, we got bike bags and he dropped us via Shuttle in Clyde so we could make our way back to Cromwell by ourselves. If you are a beginner, I recommend this direction, as it’s half the elevation (550m) vs the other way around. Just make sure you get to the coffee boat half way before 2:00pm as this is when they are closing.

Small family-run business. We were able to rent two regular (and decent!) mountainbikes on a short notice for Easter Saturday. Very friendly and competent!!! Very fair price too. If you are planning to give it a go, make sure to start from Clyde. Trust me on this one. Use plenty of sunscreen, too. :)

Great service, awesome bikes - wouldn’t have made it through the trail without e-bikes as an amateur biker! Batteries were well charged, owner was kind to take extra care to check our heights and to make sure the bike was well suited to us. He was really accommodating to our needs and easily contactable. Felt really appreciated as a customer and would recommend anyone wanting to cycle to rent from here!

Dunstan Bike Trails
We chose to hire the e-bike mountain bikes. They were perfect for the Dunstan Trail. Service was friendly, and rates excellent. The quality of the bikes (and battery life) were top quality. Highly recommend. We chose to be dropped off at Clyde and cycled back to Cromwell. Really happy with this decision, as the trail got better and better (scenery) as we went along.

Loved this place. Excellent bikes, we did e bikes and the batteries and rear rack bags were both very good quality (large enough I could leave my backpack at the shop). Dunston bike trail is really fun, we did Clyde to Cromwell (28.5 mi) - the hilly part close to Clyde was the most fun, but the coffee boat & winery made good stops closer to Cromwell. Super friendly owner & A+ service

We booked the night before through WhatsApp which was super helpful and had the best day! Hemy (the owner) is great, very friendly and funny, gives a good briefing in the morning before setting off. The bikes are brand new and light weight and have puncture repair kits, and the panier bag is big enough to store everything you need for the day. We got the 430pm shuttle back from Clyde which we recommend as you get more time to relax and swims etc along the way and enjoy a beer in Clyde at the end! Such an amazing day and definitely recommend booking through Dunstan Bike trails!
