Welcome » Steadfast Books | Hello, and welcome to Steadfast Books. We're an old fashioned bookstore in Christchurch NZ that caters for the dreamer, seeker, collector, and the next generation of readers. We're open Tuesdays through to Sundays, 10am to 5pm, and everyone is welcome.

Great shop with soooo many books. I could've spent hundreds of dollars there if i hadn't brought my wife with me! Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely drop by again next time I'm in Christchurch.

Great staff and a lovely owner. Can take your old books there so you know that they're gonna get more love. Was even told if they don't want the books I gave them they'd go to charity.

Really helpful owner who knows where everything is and is great at predicting demand. It's a little more expensive here than next door, but you're paying a premium to be able to actually navigate the store.
