NEVER BUY MECHANICAL WARRANTY THROUGH JANSSEN!!!I'm writing this review as I am tired of calling customer care. I sold my car couple months ago and the person I sold it to said that they don't need the mechanical warranty and ever since then I've been trying to cancel it. The first time I contacted Janssen, the representative asked me to cancel it through the dealer whom I bought it from and assured me that it's an easy process. I've asked my dealer to cancel it and he sent an email to Janssen, and they asked him to send all the service records of the car and the km I sold it in order to cancel it. Hence, I called the customer care representative again and this person told me to wait, and the call disconnected from their side after some time. I called the representative again and this time, he said he will transfer the call to someone who can answer my queries. I waited and waited, and the call connected to some voice mail and disconnected automatically again.After that I sent an email to them, and they replied back to me saying that in order for a refund to be processed your policy must be valid". I haven't submitted any servicing records to confirm validation of my policy. This doesn't make any sense as am cancelling my policy with zero claims and still saying that my policy is not valid. If I wanted to make a claim

It was fine until we had to claim, then they questioned our mechanic about the servicing the car. Because sometime it was over the 15k but was serviced every 3 month due to the commute to my work. The mechanic also had to point out he alternator is not a serviceable item. After the claim was finally excepted and paid out they canceled our policy.

Simple and efficient communication, made it easy to complete the claim and get my car back on the road. They worked hand in hand with the mechanic which smoothed things out as well. Highly recommended and good service provider.

The whole process was extremely straightforward delivered car to SD European for repair they contacted insurer who contacted me same day to confirm my claim. following day SD rang to inform Janssen had accepted the claim and the repairs to commence 24hrs later job complete paid my share of the invoice and back on the road.Thanks Janssen & SD European for making the process hassle free.

Janssen was the insurance provided at the dealership from which I bought my car. Having been sold somewhat of a lemon I had low hopes for the dealerships affiliated insurer. The experience was quite to the contrary, the claim proses took no more then 10 minutes and my car was booked into a mechanic within a week and fixed by the next. My claim was approved quickly and Janssen were happy to pay the $5000 worth of required work. I highly recommend buying a policy with them for any second hand car.

Its was very easy and simple process. Thanks to Tina for her efforts to sort this out for me. However, I would like to get a better understanding on the criteria for possibly supplying a new hybrid battery as opposed to the a refurbished battery that was fitted in the car. If someone could contact and explain that would be really helpful.
