Absolutely rubbish company to deal with. Not on time. Did not reply to emails. Overcharged for their services. Told us lies. Will never use them again.

DO NOT USE BT PLUMBING!! I called them to repair a water leak that was causing majorly high water bills. They came and ‘fixed’ it and then I received their bill. I was charged for time to get a part that wasn’t essential to fix the leak, which would have been fine if I had of been told this, or if it was anywhere in their terms of trade or on their website which it isn’t.Since then they have been nothing but rude, dismissive and unwilling to answer any of my queries to come to a resolution so I have had no choice but to lodge it with the disputes tribunal. It doesn’t end there! Today (over a month later) I received my latest water bill which is ridiculously high again, I checked outside and the water is gushing from where they ‘fixed’ it. I asked them to return and repair it immediately but they are refusing until I pay my bill. Why would I pay them for something they haven’t even fixed??? And the invoice is lodged with the disputes tribunal. Bunch of cowboys.

Prompt efficient service. The 4 chaps who have worked on my place were great. Nice blokes who got on with the work in a very professional manner. I have recommended BT Plumbing to my brother subsequently.

You will find my review well in line with others here so you may not be surprised.These guys were booked in for a leak detection and claimed initially that if weather was bad, they would not be able to do the leak detection. Fine and understandable. However, they did not let me know they were not coming on days when good weather was predicted either. On calling them and following up well after the appointment, they said that they were short staffed and the guy who was to come out your way has covid. I accepted a delayed booking 4 times (one of which was due to weather) and later cancelled them as it was coming in too close to Christmas and I needed the work done. Because of these guys, I had to end up bearing a high cost due to seasonal closures in identifying and fixing the leak. Guys if you are short staffed, best to let customers know ahead of time so they can book elsewhere rather than blaming it on the weather.

Definitely would not recommend, the tradie was very unreliable and took far too long to do a simple diagnosis. Quoted far too much (nearly twice for same product and services as their competitors) and didn't even follow up when they said they would be back that same day to complete an installation. Had to follow them up twice the following week and still got mucked around. Would suggest using hotwatersolutions (who we ended up using) for any plumbing or gas heater needs, they also tacked on unrealistic costs for things like consumables" and extra hours plus their gas coc cost is more expensive than everyone else. Just a bad experience like many other reviewers on here."

Prompt professional service completed with gas bottle regulators replacement. Everything went well. Would certainly recommend them to others

Very good when it comes to contact and response. But the estimate of cost was way off, yes there was more work but we seem to have paid for one plumber to watch the other work. We would have stomached that but now the repair has failed after two weeks. Not recommended.

Realized I had a water leak when I received my water bill. Phoned BT Plumbing late on Friday and a plumber was sent on the Tuesday. Within half an hour they had located and repaired the leak. The staff were friendly at all points of contact. I have used them previously and always had the same efficient service.

Jacinta Heath was horribly rude, that alone is reason to never recommend this company to anyone. Plumber himself was ok attitude wise, but extremely slow, and took three times longer than they said they would (they do free 1 hr leak detection, but he stuck around farrrr longer). In the end, didn't even resolve the issue i.e. they couldn't find the leak, so literally nothing achieved. They then followed up with an exorbitant invoice. Charged for work they didn't even do. Over-charged their time on site. Plumber sat in his van an additional 30 minutes on his phone at the end which they tried to charge. The list goes on. But by far the worst part was dealing with Jacinta and her incredibly rude and entitled attitude, just disrespectful and disgusting. Tip to BT: Get rid of this person, or at least don't put her in a front facing position, she's a liability.
