What can I say! Aye! Empanadas are the bee's knees. We ordered a bunch of smaller (10cm) empanadas for a work event, and they were absolutely delicious. It was so easy to organise with the owner (and they were a world away in Argentina). We were well looked after, I would not hesitate to order again!

Did not enjoy empanadas. My first try and was all disappointed. Staff were friendly and welcoming!Tried their desserts and was too sweet for me. However, I would recommend though for the service and worth it to try !!

Amazing place! I had the beef, spinach and champi empanadas and they were absolutely yummy! I also tried the ricotta cake and the alfajores and they are out of this world!! The couple that runs the place are really kind and willing to explain everything. I highly recommend this place. Sadly I don't live nearby but will definitely come back whenever I'm in the neighbourhood :)

Loved the Empanadas. Got the Chicken and also the Ham and Mozarella. Preferred the Mozarella Empanadas. More cheesy gooey. Pastry was perfect. Also got their Alfajores. So good!!!

Found by chance. A great wee place with friendly staff and great food.I had the Champis empanada. A great taste of cheese and mushroom in a lovely baked dough.Followed by a white chocolate sweet treat!Recommend for lovers of pies, sweet treats and a great atmosphere.

A must do when going to Welly. Authentic empanadas & alfajores! Soo good! Vegan options available ♡. Stock up for later, you'll miss them when you go back home. Friendly and helpful staff also! We keep coming back.

It's a small, basic establishment that delivers great quality food. I have tried each kind of empanada (not the desserts yet) and they are fantastic. I went with a Latin friend who says the taste is authentic. Recommended.

Amazing empanadas, very authentic dough flavour.We ordered chicken, beef, mushroom and caprese, then we added a vegan and a spinach one, we just couldn’t have enough!The staff was friendly and the service fast.This is a must!

I haven't actually had any empanadas yet, but have tried the quince tart, ricotta cake and chocolate alfajores. All were delicious but the last two were spectacular. The couple that run the place are so friendly, happy to have a chat and interesting to talk to. Great to have this special place so close by, but if I lived elsewhere, it'd be worth a trip to Kilbirnie!
