Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. We opted for the snapper and it didn’t disappoint. So fresh and literally melted in our mouths. The service was great too. Next time we’re in the Mt and in need of some fish and chips then they will be our first stop!

Classic NZ Fush & Chups with crinkle cuts chups. Ordered for 15 people and it was ready in 20 minutes. Oysters were fantastic too. Yum.

The family from Singapore throughly enjoyed this feast. The boys managed to consume 4 pieces of fish each and couldn't stop raving about it.

Beautiful kai cooked to perfection and Great efficient service!!!... i got 6 oysters and chips with a snapper fillet!... forget to mention underdone for the oysters and snapper but i didnt need to they cooked it Perfect! Was more than enough for me so saved some for later... p.s thanks for the lemon wedges!...

well worth 5 stars! a bit more up market than your standard shark and taties" but really great value for money.really tasty batter on the battered sausage and the fish was lovely and fresh.loved how my meal was served on a metal tray with a sheet of baking paper... found this rather clever.nice big tables inside if you'd like to eat as a group as well."

As a family we have come to Mags many times. Kai is always superb. The one star review is for the service we received today. Til rung up before our orders even finished. Rude service. More regard shown to the cuzzies already seated.

Just finished our meal and I had to write this review. Chips weren’t too greasy and good portion size as others have noted. But the snapper was the highlight. Best snapper I’ve had! Not frozen, moist, tasty, decent size, and they even gave us an extra snapper for free. Highly recommend.
