Ordered online, food was ready in 25 minutes during 6pm dinner rush, very high quality meal, fresh cooking oil, perfectly drained, seasoned and packaged, was still piping hot and crispy when brought home and eaten. Highly recommended.

5 stars for the lot. You walk in, and it’s a chippie. It’s way cleaner than the average kiwi chippie too. Nice bloke serving, prompt, great result when we got home to the whanau too. Golly. Ooh, and clean oil! A+

I was a visitor, just passing through town and saw the great reviews and decided to order my dinner from here.They have a great online ordering system, and my food was ready exactly on time.I arrived a bit early and saw the food flying out the door. It's a very busy and popular place.My fish was perfect. I took the fried batter off and had lovely soft, flakey fish. Their potato fritter was awesome, as was the mini spring roll.Their prices are quite reasonable, and there are different combos from 1 person to family feasts.I'll definitely pop in again when I'm in town next

The food here is fantastic! We were passing through town and needed a quick bite to eat, ordered a veggie burger, beer battered fries, wedges and pineapple fritter. The chips were perfectly cooked, the fritter was delicious and the veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

Really great fish and chips! We ordered online then popped in to collect. They were very busy (obviously really popular) so we had to wait a bit longer, but it was worth it. Both staff were really calm and effectively working through their orders.I would recommend visiting.

I get Fish and chips from these guys every couple of weeks or so. Always fresh, good value and friendly service. Negative reviews are probably competitors, definitely suss. Good F&C shop, happily recommend.

February 2022 The food here is wonderful, neat and clean and tidy shop.April 2023 I still really enjoy coming here to get my guilty fix of junk food. A year after the last review the quality of the food and the service has not deteriorated at all. Prices have had to go up (harsh fact these days) but is still well worth it :) xxx

We are a local business and keep coming back for our post harvest work shout. We had delicious raw fish in cream (made fresh this morning) , fresh Australian kina, battered terakihi and chips to feed over 20 people. Freshly sourced produce, well cooked with prompt and efficient service. Thanks Vinee and team. Excellent local fish and chip shop!
