My favourite golf club on the coast. Beautiful setting, they've got the distances of holes just right, especially for mid to high handicappers. Back nine going into the par 3 far corner is a stunning part of the course. Friendly club members and pro shop reception most welcoming.

Levin Golf Club is quite a pretty course. The course itself is very flat, lots of tree lined fairways and plenty of bunkers, but no real water hazards to speak of. Quite expensive for a rural course ($40 for non-affillated players). Visitors are welcome. The course was in very good order and tge facilities are well maintained. It's a great local course for those in the Horowhenua, but not really worth the trip up from Wellington.

Small rural backwater club. Very boring course, each hole is like groundhog day. The course has major drainage problems. The practice area is a swamp. Some club members including the clubs captian Tony Newling were abusive and unpleasant. Overall I would avoid this club like the plague and go to Foxton or Otaki instead.

Had a great day playing a full 18 holes. Course was very damp as expected but got through fine. Had a couple of beers and a pie which was great but found the seats very difficult to fit in as I'm a larger bloke I didn't want to stand and look out of place.
