Hummingbird Coffee
Easily the best supermarket coffee. I’ve been using their Oomph and Nectar espresso for years. Only downside is occasionally some batches are too coarse for espresso.I have since contacted them about this issue and they were keen to fix it.It’s some months later and indeed it seems to have been resolved. Not had a bad bag since.Great to see a company fix problems for real.

Coffee Beans produced here are always nice and fresh.However there is one draw back. The Humming Bird Website states that the opening hours are 8.30 am to 5 pm.At the door to the business the sign says closing time is 3 pm.I hope they will update the time to reflect the correct closing time, on the website, as it is always annoying to arrive there after 3 pm to find it closed..

Please bring back New York! Please bring back New York! Please bring back New York!I love you guys, I've been buying online for five years and the service and coffee have been fantastic. But for the love of god, I cannot find anything that could replace New York, not even close. Please bring it back!

Hummingbird Coffee
Consistently the best supermarket coffee beans producing a richer, better tasting coffee shot. I came here to leave a glowing review after I made yet another great coffee from Hummingbird OOMPH! beans. I also enjoy the Nectar blend. The beans always seem to be fresh out of the packet and I suspect the foil packaging is better than other supermarket brands. Really impressed with this coffee.

Great coffee, Good food selection, Great atmosphere. Staff not the most friendly in chc cafes, but not rude and very efficient, I wouldn't complain.

I found some expired Hummingbird Nectar beans in the pantry and decided to give them a try anyway. They expired in June last year!!I have a Vibiemme espresso machine that I’ve been using for 20 years. I am a self taught barista but a family member who is a real barista gives me tips for improvement. Our home coffee taste better than most - nearly all- cafes (modestly).I usually buy Colombian beans which make amazing coffee.So back to my 500 g of expired Hummingbird beans. Bought at the supermarket.Surprise!! They taste amazing. Really good. Which was totally unexpected. The beans looked good even after all that time. They hadn’t gone oily like beans often do - the taste seems to deteriorate at that point.But these Nectar beans - over a year past the expiry date - are perfect!

Tried one of their coffees at Pendleton Market and was very disappointed. Asked if they were double shots and told yes. The barrista" was extracting a shot then halving it into 2 cups so it was very weak. Half the staff busy looking at their phones while the others were sullen and rude

Lovely coffee we have been buying for years. I once accidentally bought the wrong beans and they refunded me no worries. Great product and even better customer service.
