No staff :( myself and others waiting at fragrance , queue up to get someone to come , have to start at begining of queue again and waiting for manager. But manager wouldnt come to support staff - going somewhere else

Had the horrible misfortune of dealing with an absolute idiot. I mentioned, I have a toddler who's constantly throwing up and if he can pls give anti vomiting pills and then proceed on looking at other prescriptions. But NO! Mr Prateek must follow the process and be rude.Honest recommendation - if a customer says it's either a toddler or an old person who needs something urgently. LISTEN TO THEM AND CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR TO BE BIT MORE CALM AND HELP THEM. It is COMMON SENSE to help an elderly or a parent with young toddler. To Mr Prateek, I hope you would understand this. You don't NEED to be a parent to understand this. It's as basic as giving up your seat in a bus or train for a pregnant woman or an elderly person.

I was able to find baby items at good price. Has big section for perfumes. Highly recommended.

Bad experience tonight trying to return a faulty product. Staff were insistent that I sort it out with the product supplier, despite that I bought it directly at chemist warehouse. Manager got involved and eventually they agreed to a replacement. Staff might want to familiarise themselves with the consumer guarantees act and understand their responsibilities under this act.

It's a great store BUT the only problem is that no one ever answers the phone if you have a query, either for a product advertised or a prescription query. On a few occasions I have phoned for up to an hour before I got a response at the Westgate store. As I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, I like to know that the product or medicationthat I seek is available first before setting out on a painful 2 km walk.And finally... check that the sale price of an item is indeed what you are charged at the sales register. Just got home and checked my receipt only to find that I was charged the original price. Now $5 extra as a hell of a lot of money to lose out on when you only yet a pittance o a sickness benefit paid each week. A breach of the Fair Trading Act. Bloody disappointed.

I ordered 4 items online, my credit card was debited immediately. it took 14 days for only 1 item to be delivered and when I made a complaint I was informed that 2 of the items ordered are out of stock and the 4th item is on its way. 3 weeks have now passed only 1 item delivered and no refund received. If an item is out of stock why does the system allows for it to be ordered? shambolic system and shockingly bad service. will never use again

So the pharmacist incorrectly fills my prescription (that alone should be concerning), then proceeds to get stroppy when told she had made a mistake, tells me I'm wrong, I show her the mistake on the original prescription, no apology, then gets mad that I'm frustrated when she tells me it can't be done straight away. Read the script properly in the first place and if you're corrected, apologise and sort the problem.

Not friendly staff, specially security guy at the door. Think again before hire your security. Ill do shopping somewhere else rather westgate chemist warehause.

Just had to witness a horrible old man having a tantrum towards one of the pharmacists, since his medication that he wanted was currently out of stock and there is a shortage from the suppliers. He was complaining about how the last chemist warehouse said for him to drive to each individual pharmacy and practically demanded her to do something about it. She was really respectful and was explaining to him the situation and suggested him to call the pharmacies to see if they had that medication in stop. He couldnt believe it and asked for her to ask the head office who would also not know since each pharmacy has different numbers etc, and wanted her to sit down and call every single store for him which is obviously not her job. She kept her composure despite him because a complete a hole and i wish i had the courage to say something because he was just horrific, threatening to tell the nz herald (which hah yeah no i dont think they would want to listen to him complain like a two year old not getting ice cream) and then left saying a subtle racial remark. To the worker, good job, you kept it professional and im sorry i couldnt help. The other workers were also lovely and I just hope he keeps his word and never steps back in that store :,)

Very clean and tried. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Alot of room to move around. Car parking is hit and miss by the front door and not the cleaners.
