Franz Joseph heli hike was a beautiful experience . The helicopter ride to the glacier is picturesque. The company provided all gear like ice crampons, jackets, boots, pants, small bag. The crampons and all your small items like mobile, snacks, water go in the same bag. The crampons will get mud on them so best to have only essential personal items in a plastic bag. Hike on the glacier with ice steps cut out by the guides is fun, we got to see all ice formations including a little ice cave.

Enjoyed my time up at the glacier enormously, such a unique experience and the helicopter ride there and back is stunning! Big shout out to the crew that made it all happen, they come up to the ice every morning, assess conditions, carve new steps for us hikers and move the carabeena poles. Without a doubt worth the money and we are so glad we did this trip!!

By far one of the most memorable travel experiences! The heli flight was smooth and great experience! Cale was a fantastic guide in giving us a balanced hike, enough of a challenge to be exciting but still safe under his watch. I would do this again. Def value for money!!

Quite disappointed. Expensive for the flight duration and the time on the glacier (well under 10 minutes). Paying the same price as those in front with clearly a better view than us isn’t professional not to mention it before booking and paying that price. We were on the right side and therefore opposite the best viewpoints. It’s better to be on the left side and even better, in front if you have this chance. You can also have a souvenir photo, for that add $25 to the final price.

Man oh man. Nothing really to say. Just wow. The guide was so sound, always looking after us, giving great info and just having a laugh with us all. Reallly exceptional value for money. Signed in at half 10, signed out at half 2 roughly, for the price of it can’t be beat.

Had an awesome weather to fly. Thanks to the whole team from office, the ground crew and pilot. Everyone took safety as a number 1 priority. My 3 year old son love it. It was worth going up and seeing glacier and snow landing. Recommend anytime and everytime.

Great Activity for Traveller in WinterWent during the shoulder season (Around June). It turns out to be the perfect season. It's Glacier, so it is not more cold than any other season. There were less people travelling. So the tour was in small size and very personal. The view is amazing!I was not very good at hiking in the ice. Jara and Nick helped us a lot while descending. Really Appreciate it!

Fantastic experience. The guides looked after us. We hiked up the glacier and went into several caverns. The company goes to alot of trouble to dig stairways and other safety facilities so we can safely explore the glacier. Our guide was very informative and helpful.Go explore Fox Glacier before it disappears.

Our tour was cancelled due to weather conditions however the staff both over the phone and via email were extremely helpful, polite and understanding, allowing us to cancel the tour without a charge late notice and continue with our trip.Would recommend and return to use their company when back in South Island on a future trip.
