I booked a bus ticket for my husband to Auckland international airport today. The first booking send us a time-delay about 45mins so we change the schedule departure earlier with extra money. However the changed one still delay and even worse. It is said that the bus had problems on the way and had to go to the Auckland city centre. (May I ask is the international airport far than Auckland city center from Hamilton or manukau???) Then my husband was dropped off downtown and asked to make his own way to the airport. I would say that without our friend's help, he would have delayed his flight today, and his Covid 19 2tests 48hrs ago which cost $410 would have been invalid. All travel plans will be disrupted. The irresponsible behaviour of the bus company is very infuriating. They don’t even give a backup plan for the unexpected situations. I will not take this company in the future. So disappointed!!!

Good so far, heading to Levin $80.99 for ticket , ppl should listen to driver when he asks for bags, they all stand there like deaf zoombizs. Fark 10 hours on this bus & it's not a double decker GRRR. Tuesday 29 November 2022.

My fellow Kiwis, I realise this is no small ask since InterCity have the monopoly on so many routes, but please try to avoid patronising this most un-Kiwi of companies. I booked a flexi" ticket for my friend which claimed to be fully refundable

A reasonable service (needed it Auckland-Taupo return), bus is clean and comfortable. Except reclining seats, USB charging port did not work, and there is no toilet (instead refreshment stop"

The most inhospitable travel stop in New Zealand. It is impossible to drop off passengers by car. There is very limited seating in the waiting area and there is no seating outside in the loading area where you’d expect there to be some. The interior of the booking office is dated and dirty and makes for a very sad and unwelcoming experience for visitors.

My bus from Auckland to Tauranga last week on 2/12 was delayed by a little over an hour as it was broken down at the terminal at SkyCity. No mention of it to us overheating passengers on the bus by the driver nor any email/text from the company (even though their site says they’ll notify passengers in the event of a delay). I requested a partial refund as the delay made me late for a special event in Tauranga and NO RESPONSE from anyone. I’ll never use their services ever again.

Buses break down, wrong signs on busses sometimes. No offer of refunds for 30+min delays. Sometimes rude drivers add to the terrible services, especially if you don't have brown skin.

I arrived a couple of minutes before departure time only to see the bus leaving and refusing to stop. Be also careful as they sometimes use different companies buses which is very confusing and which happened to me on that same occasion (it was a Ritchies bus, which made me go talk to another bus driver before returning to the right one, that was leaving anyway). It's crazy how strict they can be with their customers, while they are very often running late themselves with no penalty. So, if you arrive a couple of minutes before departure time, you'll risk loosing hundreds of dollars worth of bookings. If someone has not boarded yet, basic decency would require to wait at least until the stated departure time or a couple minutes more after that. The bus had to stop for a very long time in one of the following steps anyway, and the constraints are not as stringent as those for airline companies.

Hopeless. It's not acceptable to cancel a 730am bus at 715pm, the previous evening. It is frankly astonishing that I then have to pay a premium to rebook the next bus.It beggars belief that I have to pay twice for the booking fee. Then a 15 minute wait to embark due to their outdated roll-call process.Jokers!(Having said that, Sharon the driver on the Hamilton Auckland leg is amazingly helpful and hard working)
