Cardrona Alpine Apartments

Great slopes parks. Also great off-piste areas.

There are reasons these apartments get booked out a year in advanced. Our group stayed four nights at Cardrona Alpine Apartments this winter season and have already gone back to rebook for 2021. These apartments range from around $500-$800 a night depending on size, and works well particularly with young families. Other than the obvious ski in-ski out benefits, we had kids between 2 and 5 years old and it was brilliant to have a place to rest after being out a couple of hours, to have lunch, or even just to freshen up. When the ski field is closed after 4pm, there's still plenty of daylight and the base of the resort was all ours and kids were out enjoying snowball fights.The Apartment staff was friendly and attentive. We experienced great customer service even before arriving. Due to Covid and airlines restrictions, we had to postpone our trip, Cardrona Alpine Apartments along with Cardrona resort went extra miles to accommodate our requests and allowed changes of bookings and refunds of any differences. The unforeseen situations had huge impacts on the travel industry including Cardrona, yet they still put us before their own benefits. As such, they have shown exceptional management skills and earned loyalty of at least our group of 10 to return for many years to come.The most exceptional experience was on our last day when we were about to leave in the midst of a severe snow storm. The Apartment staff asked for our car keys -- they went on and dug out our cars from deep snow fall overnight, had two staff put chains on, warmed our cars and drove them to our doorsteps ready to be loaded. This is BAR NONE the most exceptional service we have experienced in a long time. They didn't have to do that at all, but they did to make sure we make it safely down the mountains.The way Cardrona manages their business and treatment of customers should be what all industry strive for.

There' very expensive but still they are good they cost around $300 NZ dollars

Great service during the off season, we stayed here while attending Rhythm and Alps and although the gravel road can be long (20-25mins) it was nice and close to the festival. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food and drinks were good.

Enjoy when up on cardrona gondola nice day

Drive up the hill was more adventurous than the Chondola (gondola) ride up.. Would be spectacular in Winter... Nothing else there lot of renovation going on..

The apartments are a great way to be right near the action straight away each morning. They are comfortable and warm. The kitchen is self contaibed however it would be great if the kitchen had containers to store the cooked food. Otherwise it is a great place to stay.

Didn't stay all booked out, not cheap but great location to be on the slopes first ride.

These are great. Clean and tidy. Really warm. Lovely view. Nice walk to town. Bit of a hill on the way back but didn't mind that and wouldn't have the view without it. Would definitely stay again. Recommend.

Amazing service always check if you need anything restocking kitchen needs or removing rubbish etc.. car valet service is awesome. 3 bathrooms kitchen laudry and a drying room Accomodation is Upstairs from the bar/restaurant and a very short walk to the gondola or lift maybe 1-2min we will definitely be rebooking. One of the best on mountain experience I have had to date.
