I was new to mountain biking. I joined the beginner’s workshop in March and loved it. The park is just so wonderful. I am very lucky living nearby and can practice often. Thank you Ally for your great work and encouragement.

The Medlock Trail starting at the western end of the bike park and enters the Kauri Block. Spectacular views. The route is well signposted.

I had work up this way so decided to bring the bike after hearing about this new bike park. Couldn't fit the new bike on the roof rack, so the old one had to do.Spent a couple of hours here and knocked of all the trails a couple of times. I've never ridden on sticky mud before like this, so with the correct pressure adjustment to the High Rollers, I found plenty of grip and had an absolute blast!Full credit to those creating this park, you've done a great job.I think I will bring my bike up this way again and explore further.
