Wow! Awesome affordable motel located in Sydenham. The staff are very friendly (the ethnic ladies) and very hard working our room was always tidied each day with rubbish bin emptied etc great location and there is parking around the back on 2 penbury street. Overall great stay thanks to great staff

Everything was amazing in this place! Very kindly and helpful girl on reception, clean silent and big room with bathroom, fridge, table, kettle, cups, iron... Lodge is only 10-15 minutes walking from city center and from big supermarket. Thank you for everything.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Clean, tidy and quiet and the sky light in the room was a lovely touch. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to CHCH.

Awesome place, great room, ensuite bathroom, clean and quiet! They upgraded my room because I stayed for two weeks. Great service! A short walk away to PaknSave and to the bus interchange. If you don't want to walk, the bus stop is just across the street. Breakfast? Go outside and take a left turn. They have a bakery with a coffee shop. Hungry? Go downstairs to Morimori restaurant. Very convenient.

Rooms are nice and clean which the most essential thing. However, to check in you need to call a number most of the times.The only downside it's the music in the restaurant downside but they close between 9pm and 10pm sharp!Location is good maybe 20minutes walking distance to the center.

Booked three of our staff to stay for the duration the the NZ Water Conference and I had nothing but positive feedback. They said it was quiet, clean, the staff were friendly and as the accounts person I can say it was great value. The gentleman with the room that only has the skylight said he woke up in the middle of the night and could see stars! Will book again next time for sure.
