One member of staff has caused me to rate this business one star. I had no direct communication with her but watched with disbelief and horror as she continuously belittled and undermined her colleague by whom I was being served. He was nothing but polite, courteous and attentive throughout our exchange and I was very impressed with his customer service skills. The woman responsible for my one-star-rating was rude, impatient, and seemingly flustered. She had no qualms about speaking to the young gentleman serving me, with disdain and disrespect and this was in front of a whole lot of waiting customers. It appears that she is in a position of 'power' but I believe she's very bad news for the business.

I have a quick question to save me driving over 100km but they never answer the phone. Frustrating

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had two rings and the stones have fallen out of both rings! The first one was fixed but only after an argument when they said wouldn't do anything and the young guy was very rude to us. I emailed head office and they said they would fix it which they did, but it never looked the same. The next time a Sapphire dropped out of my ring so i emailed the manager of Tauranga. After many emails, Taylor finally decided to refund my money. I got my refund and in store I asked for Taylor and she hid behind the scenes and never dealt with me. Instead she got a guy to give my refund who said to me as I was leaving, bad luck comes in threes, I replied well I hope not. Unreal, who says that to a customer? I can't possibly have bad luck since I will never ever buy anything from cash convertors as long as I live. What discusting service and a bunch of absolute misfits that work there. Discusting and shameful to Tauranga.

Worst place ever. Whoever picked up the phone that person need some better attitude. I was trying to sell couple of items and this freak was trying to tell me he bought $40k worth of jewelry at $1500. Why do I have to pay you top dollars? You need to gether up you attitude before buy and sell.

Excuse my language but hell idk about the other reviews being so negative geez! But i had an awsome experience with CC.Staff are soo full of laughter and always listened to abit a yarn . very helpful in assisting us pawning something in and laybuying. Went in 4:45pm just in time they were about to close but still assisted us.Thank you Maia & Alex for being such stars

Purchased a phone from here salesman gave me no info whatsoever regarding phone unprofessional service didn't even try to promote the phone etc , went to return phone few days later as camera was too delayed for me wasn't told about the refund policy which was no refunds unless faulty from this particular salesmans management come out and rudely explained to me that I was informed on purchase about refund told her I wasn't and the salesmans couldn't even look at me as he knew he hadn't explained , stupid service and highly unprofessional service

Staff are piss poor at customer service they shouldnt be dealing with the public in a retail shop if they are not good enough to do their job. May I suggest they are better suited to working in a donnut factory making the donnut holes.

Literally just got hung up on, wanted to sell my Nintendo switch lite. The first question this lady asked me was how much do you want for it I said approximately $150 - $200 as I brought I new at $369 not long ago. She told me she has to make a profit so there's no way she can buy it for that much and she could half $150 and I said so $75? And she scoffed and hung up. RUDE

WARNING TO OTHERS: CASH CONVERTERS TAURANGA DO NOT HONOUR THEIR 90 DAY WARRANTY ON JEWELLERY.We bought a second hand diamond ring only to find the stones fell out of it 16 DAYS after we bought it. Cash Converters Tauranga have a 90 warranty on jewellry if it is faulty which it obviously is. When we went back to the shop, we were bullied by a Tattooed Shop assistant with a beard who refused to honour the warranty and said that's an insurance claim because the stone that dropped out of it is tiny and not to be found.Stand over LOAN SHARK TACTICS really and not fair trading.I am not going to stop here as I think these guys need to be had up by the commerce commission for unfair trading.Funny part is I was eyeing up an $1100 mens ring to buy there which I won't be now.
