I went to two of the major scrap metal dealers in Palmeston North with similar materials as a comparison.I feel I was severely under paid for the aluminum which should have been a minimum of $1/kg, I got 40c/kg!The brass was better but still not what it should have been, with how clean it was and no extra attachments or other metals $4/kg would have been expected not $3/kg. The staff were helpful enough and friendly. But they dont carry small change just notes and gold coins so my payment got rounded down by 40c.

They have a small office down the back that is not well signposted. As there is only one person dealing with incoming product, you could be in for a wait.
