Q hotel is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Central location. All major tourist attractions are within 15, 20 minutes walk. The Room are huge, we stayed in room 855 with fantastic view of the city. Room is extremely clean, bed extremely clean, bathroom extremely clean. Bed very comfortable. Little kitchen is very clean. Indoor swimming pool, spa pool and a gym. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Worth every 4.5 stars. Will definitely stay there again.

Dump,as seen on photo was 1916 Peoples Palace. SMALL rooms, run down, wouldn't pay $50 a night to stay here

Fantastic Location! Stayed here and booked an event to be held here. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and were very disability friendly with a number of disabled members in wheelchairs that needed access. Food was fantastic, rooms were clean, mine had a lovely view of Wellington. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Staff always had a smile on their face and even spent some time discussing some special Gins they had I could try. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience!

Excellent location in Cuba Stree. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly. It has a small gym and a small heated pool. Highly recommended.

Compact and clean rooms so not a lot to complain about on that front. I wouldn't bother too much with the restaurant, but I'd you do head through there give the popcorn chicken a go. Avoid the lamb shank at all cost unless you like it bland with super garlic-ey mashed potatoes. I will praise the staff though, as they did a great job when our group from a cancelled flight came in.

Great location. New side accommodation is great. Pool and viewing platform. Food is ok. Dunlop room too hot needs aircon. Had a conference here and temperature and aircon erratic. Big room, kitchenette and modern bathroom.

I stayed in the C hotel (not to be confused with the Q hotel) which is nice enough and no frills. Rooms are small and beds comfy. The heater did a good job of quickly warming the room. It is in a great location to explore Cuba St, but can also get some street noise. There is a small bar downstairs with a few beers on tap.

Not impressed by this hotel for the price. Room was not clean.. poor lighting.. fixed shower head over bath.. frayed carpet..very noisy . not even sky TV. Breakfast was average. Would not stay again.
