Excellent store, helpful staff. As I live in Queenstown and had to visit Eye Hospital in Dunedin I went to the bookstore with my wife and purchased 3 books. Pilgrims Progress and 2 books by Dostoyevsky. Enjoyable place to visit. They posted a book to me earlier in the year which I could not find in Queenstown. Brilliant. Regards Ian

I recently purchased two books online from Hard to Find Secondhand Bookshops. My pre-purchase questions were answered promptly in a very obliging manner and with pictures provided of the books concerned. The prices asked were very reasonable compared with those of alternative sellers. When the books arrived, I found they had been packaged very securely, and even had an inner wrapping of tissue paper around each -- a very nice touch. It would be rare to find others taking such care. The condition of the books themselves exceeded my expectations. I was very happy with this transaction. (L.M.)

I was so pleased to find a British book that had long been out of print in a New Zealand bookshop. About my great great grandfather. Somehow in moving around I'd lost my copy. Saving me alot on postage from England. So Hoorah! to this business for being there. The book was priced fairly. The service was excellent and my book arrived within a few days in great packaging. A1+
