Went mid-week so missed the Sunday session which I'm sure would have been a different experience. They are not geared up to handle more than a few tasters at a time and disappointingly we waited (ignored) for about 10 mins before we got a taste, grabbed a bottle and left. Frankly, given the level of craft brew in NZ, the two we tasted (Cabana and Grizzly) were pretty average.

Excellent beer and location, right next to Medlands beach on the main road across the island. Have a few tasters and make sure you bring your own bottle / flagon / bucket to fill up at reasonable prices! Particularly enjoyed the Solar Charged and the Cabana when we were there. It’s a good sun trap in the afternoon as well!
