I have previously found treatment in NZ plateaus and overall rehab or improvement stalls.This however is definitely not the modus operandi here!Dr Adriana Silvestre was recommended to me by a friend and her results have been incredible in a short period.She is highly informative but most important to me, effective professional.Lower back pain gone, shoulder, hip and ankle movement increased by amounts I didn’t think possible.All in 3 sessions! I was referred to Yaso by my GP after a complex series of injuries from car accidents, bike falls and sports left me dealing with concussion, shoulder sprain, neck sprains and so on. While physio had been very helpful at resolving migraines, I was still not getting the mobility back that I wanted. Yaso examined me, gave me important education that re-engaged my motivation at the gym, and then referred me to Adriana Silvestre, conveniently a practitioner at Beckford Sports also. They're a truly one-stop shop. If you see Yaso and don't need Adriana's services go you good thing! But if you happen to need more in-depth instruction, education and holistic advice that goes above and beyond with long appointments that allow you to ask all the questions you need -- and hear all the information as well -- then you're in excellent hands! I've been practising yoga for 20 years, was a full-time yoga teacher for 3 years until injuries held me back. Despite this history, in 3 sessions Adriana has taught me crucial facts about mobility and breathing that I didn't know. She is continually learning the science of body movement and mind / motor control. This is a fast-moving area of science, new techniques and understandings develop frequently, and Dr Silvestre is always up-to-date and able to sift the facts from fiction so you don't have to, distilling it down into simple, practical recommendations. She really is a storehouse of knowledge that is logical, holistic, simple enough, easy to implement and above all effective! The hands-on treatment, exercises and instruction that Adriana has given me take a few minutes each day and have already (a month into treatment) relieved a lot of pain and tension from my body. Better yet, they often lead to permanent improvements in body movement and pain reduction. Information is power and if you're lucky enough to have access to Adriana's expertise, you can turn your current difficulties into strengths because you will know more about your body and how to move, breathe, sleep well and that will be helpful throughout the rest of your life. Excellent team, great results!

I saw Adriana when a disc prolapse became acute, I saw Adriana at Beckford Sports, I went from being totally incapacitated to regaining a huge amount functionality and mobility that kept me comfortable until surgery. Adriana's approach was amazing and her holistic approach gave me guidance on how to move and breath along with the physical treatments, needling, stretching and a whole range of things.Highly recommend her services.

As someone who has experienced chronic lower back pain for many years, Adriana Silvestre is one of the most knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate practitioners I have ever encountered. I have felt very fortunate to have her support and particularly appreciate her persistence and advocacy in seeking the root cause of the issue. Highly recommend Adriana and her treatment, acupuncture sounds scary, but you hardly notice it and it helps so much. She is very knowledgeable and explains things so you can understand them.She is friendly and fun to hang out with while she treats you.

My daughter had broken 5 different bones and dislocated her knee all within 1 year. After seeing multiple physo each time she had a break we were referred to Yaso what can I say. Yaso took the time and was very thorough on her first examination I knew then we were in good hands. We had a lot of test done, had multiple, scans, X rays, MRI, Yaso wasn’t just putting us in the to hard basket like everyone else had done or telling us she was just unlucky breaking so many bones. I’m no doctor but even I knew something was amiss and not in the position to take it privately I had no choice but to just do what I could. With a very active girl missing yet another season of netball and dance recital it was both physically and mentally taking its toll. It looked like it we were on the road to recovery when my daughter again did her knee in, I didn’t waste my time going to physo I contacted Yaso and she got straight onto it more scan, MRI, another knee brace and intense phsyo directed strictly by Yaso we finally got discharged last week. Its been a long 2 plus years but with Yaso you know exactly whats going on and why. I cant recommend Yaso enough with out her Im sure my now 14 year old would still be not dancing and living the active life that she does.
