Practice 92

Great practice! The administration team are amazing, always reminding me before scripts run out and regular text check ins between sessions. Doctor Phaldessai helped me a lot with his kind and compassionate bedside manner.

We have been to this place for number of years. the front desk used to be very friendly, efficient and understand our needs. my recent experiences with their new receptionist was horrifying , she was arrogant and trying to cover up her mistakes of massing up our booking, no apology instead she trying to hang up on us and refer us to P manager. regardless this business is set up for mentally ill clients or clients with complex of stresses whos need helps so they need to have efficient frontline staffs, who will listen well , empathy, be kind with a human touch of genuine care not someone with bad attitude or adding more unnecessary stresses. Just remember clients paying your wages so without them its your lost.

Dr Helen Temperton saw us when we had a really difficult time with our autistic son a few years ago. She was kind and caring and knew how to help us. Thank you again.

If I could give this practice 0 stars I would. Dr Hugh Clarkson was one of the least professional people I have come across in the medical field. I had a family member meet with him and within the first few minutes he made a comment stating that he does not believe he would be the right person for them, despite having seven years of experience in the field. Following this, in a letter sent by him he alludes to the idea that this was due to insurance not covering enough sessions - despite neglecting to inquire whether payment out of pocket would be an issue ; which it wouldn't of been. The last 15 minutes of the session was spent with him repeatedly glancing at his clock, for $450 an hour the least he could do is give his full attention. Will not be recommending this practice to anybody.

Practice 92 do not value their patients AT ALL. I have been emailing this place back and forth for months on end. It took nearly 6 months to reply to my first email. I want to come back here and receive further assistance for my serious mental health issues, but these people seem to make it way worse for me. After my first appointment last year, I began my new medication, I haven’t heard a dickie bird to see how I was handling the medication, let alone my mental stability. All I needed was one document signed. This takes 30 seconds. THAT’S ALL. I have had absolutely no result, no follow ups, taking days to reply and I’m not wasting anymore of my life trying to get help from these people who clearly have more important things on their mind than their suffering patients. Do better. I won’t be back and neither will anyone I will come across.

The staff are nice enough, but it takes far too long to get a script complete. A minimum of 10 days from when I enquire about renewing my script. Once took a month before I got the medication I need to function properly. Same experience with my partner who goes to this practice.Honestly, we shouldn't have to ration our medication or go without because Practice 92 can't adequately deal with their admin.

Having been in an out of public mental health services for a few years I didn't have high hopes when referred here but I was recently discharged from Practice 92 where I was able to get to a good level of mental health. The quality of care was great and admin staff were very responsive. I think I needed to be able to have follow up when I needed it rather than on the schedule of the DHB. Well worth the cost - I feel like I know how to look after myself now. Thanks!

I am so grateful to have accessibility to Dr. Tony Fernando's expertise considering his highly recognised accomplishments.Dr. Fernando has the ability to sensitively extract the required information in order to help through his gentle and steadfast methods, probing at the right moments to gain a full picture and understanding so he could informatively advise and find solutions.He is professional and diligent while remaining down to earth and kind.I was very fortunate to be called in to cover a last minute cancelation as he has a long waiting list ahead.I feel extremely refreshed, positive and hopeful after my session with Dr. Fernando and he even opened up a new slot in his booked out calendar to ensure my follow up appointment is timely.I so look forward to our next appointment, thanks again Dr. Fernando!
