Waiho Hot Tubs

An absolute bliss experience. Would highly recommend and come back again ourselves. Temperature was perfect, the owner was super lovely and polite. We were made to feel welcome and at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better time and such a good soak! Beautiful scenery whenever you walk, very well set up.

This is a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the local area. The tubs are superb and easy to operate and you can byo drinks and snacks. 10/10 can't wait to come back

This place is designed in keeping with the lush green landscape with spring water straight off the glacier filling the tub. The wood-fired heating is such a nice touch. Do yourself a favour & add the epsom salts! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing & private.

It's a must do, A great place to relax in the hot tubs after a day of hiking and doing it in the evening just gives that atmosphere of being out in the bush.

Fantastic relaxing evening after a long drive from Nelson! The tubs were lovely and hot, clean and tucked away in a quiet leafy spot.

Waiho Hot Tubs was a fantastic experience!I would highly recommend doing this if you’re in Franz Josef. It is well worth it and so much needed after a long day of hiking and exploring the area.We opted for the optional Epsom salts too and it was so good, we should’ve added the lavender as well.The staff and owner are so welcoming and made the entire experience so great!It was raining the day we did it but it was such a spectacular experience. There is a large umbrella that covers about half the tub so that kept us out of the rain but the mist made the experience very unique. Just loved the entire time, I wish it didn’t have to end.Another great thing is that you’re allowed to take snacks and drinks with you to enjoy the experience and make it more comfortable which is awesome.Only thing that could’ve made it even better was floating neck pillows or something soft to lean on the sides. Besides that I highly recommend coming here and having a soak. So relaxing and just the best after a long day of hiking and exploring.

Marvelous! Beautiful setting for the hot tubs between the ferns. We felt also very private and the whole experience was just beautiful and relaxing.

Absolutely mind-blown!!!! Beautiful location, the walk ways between the tubs are picturesque & the tub experience itself is something we will take away with us as one of a kind!A really magical place to be.Enjoyed every moment from the friendly arrival till departure. We will most certainly visit again and will recommend this experience.

We had an incredible time at the Waiho Hot Tubs - visiting in mid-May we had an extremely cold and rainy day so the contrast of the hot, picturesque tubs was perfect. Staff were amazing, the facilities were fantastic and the experience itself was inviting, private and didn't last long enough! Highly recommend.

A fantastic and relaxing experience in an amazing part of the country, we loved our blissful hour at Waiho Hot Tubs during our West Coast trip. Easy to book online, lovely welcome and great facilities. Will be back.
