Fantastic! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and inviting. The huge spa room was a pleasant surprise.And most importantly - the host was so accommodating!We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to Whanau, friends and everyone else. 5 stars from us :)

Great stay! Checked out this morning after a peaceful, warm and comfortable sleep. The room I stayed in was super clean, had everything you could need (hot shower, good bed, microwave and fridge in room). Lexi’s service was amazing, pointing out all the nearby necessities (bike room, spa, local places to eat and supermarkets). I felt safe and taken care of. The Lodge is literally 100m from the Rail Trail so I could just roll across the road and be there. 10/10 for location.

Stayed a night as part of a rail trail cycle tour. Nice place with modern facilities and a great team looking after you. Comfy beds. Easy walk up town to the pub and cafe.

Really lovely staff. Beautiful room. Great bed. Good facilities to cook meals if you want to. A nice pub down the road if you don’t want to cook. Good laundry, if you want to do some washing. Even a clothesline!

Stayed here on our Rail Trail trip. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful even going out of her way to send an urgent document for us. Good laundry. Lovely clean and comfortable unit. Secure facilities for our bikes. Great selection of food for breakfast. Thank you Hawkdun for a memorable stay

A large group of us stayed at Hawkdun Lodge and we were all extremely happy with the facilities and the level of cleanliness.Really great venue, and the communal areas make it so easy for dinners and breakfast. The spa is also such a bonus! Lexie was unbelievably helpful from start to finish. Such a lovely friendly lady who went above and beyond to accommodate our group and all our needs. She's a true gem!
