Harding Park
It's the location of the Museum, our reason for being there. The views are superb and the museum a great place to explore. NZ Dalmatian him diggers are covered exceptionally well. The museum gives you a great insight of life in the early days of Northland.

Awesome park for kids and adults alike, offering wide open playing fields, jungle gym for the kids, half court for b.ball, secure toilets, awesome skate park and pumptrack,with the local community swimming pool there aswell.shops a mere 5mins away, a awesome day out if your near Dargaville 10/10

I go to Harding Park twice a week as a volunteer in the workshop at the Kaipara Heritage Machinery Museum, restoring, repairing and maintaining the wide range of vintage agriculture machinery which is on display in the main museum. While you are up on the hill you can enjoy the wonderful views over Dargaville town and the mighty Northern Wairoa River. Also in Harding Park, and not to be confused with the Machinery Museum, is the Dargaville Maritime Museum. Also worth a look at.

Excellent place to visit for a quick picnic. With bike track for those who are adventurous or museum for those who wish and of course walking tracks
