Fantastic service and quality campers

Spent a week travelling around NZ in a Pop About Camper and loved it! Didn't want to return. Has everything you need for time spent away. Couple of things we loved about the camper: the outdoor shower is so helpful and now considered a must for us when travelling in the summer time. Also loved how much room there was within the camper and extra room when its popped up so cooking and moving around within it is no hassle. Also really comfortable to sleep in. It has everything you need including rubbish bags and dish cleaner which is such a nice touch. Looking forward to renting again thanks for the amazing and friendly service Vaughn & Rachel!

We (2 people) rented a Toyota Hiace for 46 days:We were super happy. Those guys know what they are doing.We give a overall 5 out of 5 points!5/5 points for fairness - no extra costs when picking up the car (no extra costs for additional driver or camping chairs)5/5 points for service - they picked us up at our accommodation (Auckland) and dropped as off at the end (Auckland)5/5 points for capability - always responding if there was anything to ask. Super service (and super friendly!!)5/5 points for cleanness - everything the dishes, the equipment, the bed/pillow, mattress, blanket, the towels and the car itself was absolutely clean and high standard.5/5 points for the car - car was maintained and absolutely secure to drive, as good as new.5/5 for high quality design - the whole design was just so practical, a real fridge, when it's raining you can actually cook inside, we had space for living and with the pop up roof it was just perfect. The car is really self contained and even offers solar panels as well as additional batteries so we could charge everything with usb without driving (for 240v you need a powered side but for us was not necessary). And even a handy outdoor shower was build in.We can absolutely recommend them to everyone and would totally rent a car from Pop About Campers again

I had an amazing time in the Pop About Camper!I went on a mountain biking road trip around the north island, the van was very well set up and the layout is perfect, the bed is big and it changes into a table and comfy seats with ease, the van even came with a really good bike rack.Rachel and Vaughn have thought of everything for the van, and they were fantastic to deal with.The van is easy to drive and putting the pop up roof up and down is a breeze, and so handy being able to stand up inside!I would definitely recommend hiring a campervan from Pop About Campers to everyone, I loved my trip in it!Thanks guys!

Loved that this Van was easy to drive (doesn't feel like you're driving a bus or catching wind), but you still get the luxury of popping the roof open at night. Being able to stand up while cooking is a game changer! The water pressure of the tap was amazingly unexpected and all cleaning products were included making for a seamless tidy up. Lots of space to store luggage and we even bought a surfboard. Would definitely recommend Pop About Campers to both local and international travelers for any distance. Great way to see NZ and connect back to the homeland <3

Tuvimos la suerte de conocer esta empresa a través de un conocido. Alquilamos una van durante una semana. La furgoneta estaba muy bien diseñada, muy cómoda. Creo que incluso la estrenamos!! La atención, inmejorable. Repetiré si vuelvo a NZ!!

My partner and I were doing a 3 week trip from Australia and really struggled to find a proper campervan last minute that wasn’t going to cost an arm and a leg. When I first came across this company I was a bit skeptical because of how little reviews there were but I am SO HAPPY that I rented from them! They were so kind and helpful answering our questions before we even booked with them. Vaughn picked us up from the airport and really took the time to explain the campervan and everything to us vs other companies I’ve rented from that are like ‘here’s your keys call us if you break down’. The camper had everything you could think of and more including rubbish bags, cleaning supplies, etc,. The outdoor shower was amazing when coming back from the beach and wanting to rinse the sand off. There were USB sockets next to the bed so we could charge our phones at night. The fridge was so spacious and charged whilst we drove so we never had to pay for a powered site and camped for free the whole trip. Best part though? We could actually stand up and move around freely!! You can tell they really care about their campers and built them to perfection. My partner and I even said if we ever were to purchase our own camper we’d reach out to them to build one for us! After seeing the other camper companies on the road that we were going to rent from and how run down they were I am so happy we found Pop About Campers.
