We loved staying at the Ratanui lodge, staff were very helpful and professional. Rooms fresh and comfortable with all that you need. We would definitely stay again and recommend that if you are looking for somewhere in a good location, easy to stay at with great service, book yourself in! Thank you everyone our wedding day was special and great to have a lovely place to come back to after the best day ever!

Beautiful rooms and excellent dinners. The breakfast menu for guests of the lodge could have a few more choices, overall not the best breakfast experience. Pool and Spa are a bit dated. All in all it’s great and I will recommend.

We just had dinner here as we were staying a few doors away at an AirBnB. The restaurant was lovely, the food was delicious (as were the cocktails!) and service was very good. Would definitely recommend this place for dinner and would be very happy to come back again.

Amazing rooms, impeccable in its condition - service was phenomenal from the staff, nothing was an issue and you could tell they had the clients best interest at heart. Great food & this lodge and service made our trip. Thank you

Fairly good room - decent size and well-equipped. Friendly and helpful staff, with an over-enthusiastic general manager. Restaurant served a very good dinner, but opening days for the restaurant and bar are inconsistent, which is really unhelpful when trying to plan what to do for the day. Location is OK, but there is no view of the bay and there is little else in the direct vicinity (circa 10-minute drive to Takaka). Overall, disappointing.

Landed here on the spur of the moment. Ethan, the general manager, was amazing. Booked us in, made us feel extremely welcome and provided perfect service throughout our stay.The food was tasty and locally sourced. A great location and Ethan even made suggestions for walks and places of interest to visit.Would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and had a great experience. Rooms are clean and very updated, hot tub and swimming are both nice additions after a day of hiking and kayaking. Dinner and breakfast at the lodge were both delicious and the staff was very accommodating.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay and dine. All the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I could not recommend highly enough.
