I ordered eggs benedits with bacon. Bacon was missing first and then the eggs were overcooked. Some people on the staff were friendly others not even apologize for the inconvenience.

Good service with decent options for cakes, savoury items and coffee.

Had a cooked breakfast and tried their sausage roll. Breakfast was great but the bread is chewy. Sausage roll used to come with relish and was better for it. Still tasty but the relish was good. Wife had eggs benidict and was not impressed as the eggs were hard and the bread chewy. I would be back but by myself I think.

If you are in the market for a good coffee and a quick bite, Robert Harris is a great option. Central to Nelson, nice and quiet and offering excellent food. There are a variety of options, and each can be accompanied with a selection of salads from the cabinet. The coffee is some of the best in town, as this is what the franchise is created around, and the service is quick.I enjoyed the Salmon Roulade, it was light yet filling and the salmon stood out amongst the egg omlette rolled up with cream cheese. Decadent. The fritter stack was also very good, with the various layers of cheese adding a tasty punch! The additional bowl of fries we ordered was well received, crisp, fresh and hot. You could tell that the oil they were cooked in was fresh.I do know that this cafe can get busy during Saturday markets, but is worth the wait!

Bit disappointed with service. Lot of young people that needed a little more direction. Missed out some of our food. Did offer a free coffee to make up for it.

From the interior design prospective, some unique feather here caught my eyes:1 How to apply the black colorPaint black to all the frame of the entrance door and entire Celling inside, it makes the continuity from outside to inside.Black paint also makes a pieces of entrance wall into a black board, which shows the welcoming by hand drawing/ writing.2. Keep one white brick wall:the rough texture helps highlight the kitchen part, such as the huge wood kitchen shelves and the displayed stuff etc.3. Apply big round glass balls here above the kitchenThe big round glass ball shape definitely break the square space well. It makes the whole space more attractive.4 How to use shelvesThe top box shelf against the Celling: as it is very high to reach, all the old collections are displayed here as a small gallery. It shows the character and cultural taste of the owner.huge floating shelves with wood texture. It shows the nature power, and also makes the all the stuff on it beautiful and safe. The big portrait print of the founder beside the entrance wallConnect with the history of the Cafe directlyThe suggestion:The group of fixed chairs and tables take the flexibility and mobility away.Recommended for the ones, who want some inspiration of the interior designing.o

Ordered the Savoury mince on toast, was a soup with some mince meat in it and not savory and toast was mush due to soaking up the excess fluid. Tasted and looked like they had microwaved it from frozen?? Sorry guys, great place and nice staff, was looking forward the finally having a mince on toast breakfast after seeing it on the menu.

The most overpriced food for such a little portion you get. I paid for half a bowl of soup and 1 slice of bread for $17! I’m not usually one to complain but that is ridiculous. Was extremely disappointed.

Quality of food has decreased since I was last here. Bacon was almost inedible, very hard and chewy, a little greenery on the plate wouldn't go amiss, fritter stack looked sad and lonely on the large plate. Still for the price it was edible.
