Do not use this company if you care at all about your phone. Every time they have repaired something on my iPhone, they also broke something.The first time I used them, I had a cracked screen on my iPhone. They replaced the screen quickly and returned it. The colours on the screen weren’t as good, especially off-axis but they were cheap and it was a replacement screen. More annoyingly was that the screen would get unresponsive or very difficult to use if there was even a hint of moisture on your fingers. I’m not sure if this was a defect in the screen or the installation wasn’t done properly. Either way, it was very annoying, but just about liveable. I wasn’t particularly happy with the work, but they were the only company in Morrinsville and I didn’t want to take it to Hamilton.6+ months later I cracked the screen again. At this point I didn’t think they could make the iPhone any worse than it already was, and I was wanting to get a new one in another six months, so I thought I’d go back to get them to replace the screen. Apart from the cracked screen, everything else was in working order - home button, TouchID, charging, and proximity sensor (you’ll see why I mention this in a moment).I dropped it in for repair and came back to pick it up the next day. Within 2 seconds of receiving it from them in the shop I noticed that the home button was not moving properly; they had somehow got the home button stuck when installing the screen. I’m not sure how they didn’t notice this, even the most cursory of inspections would have picked up that the most important button on the entire phone didn’t work. I immediately gave it back to them and asked them to fix the home button.They took the phone out to the back to take the screen off and reseat it. They then gave it back to me and I kept walking. A minute later I made a call and found that the proximity sensor wasn’t working (the sensor that turns off the phone screen when you put it up to your ear). After I finished my call I gave it back to them a second time to fix the proximity sensor. I left it with them for the day.When I went to pick up the phone later I noticed immediately that the battery was at 2-3%. They said to me that “their chargers weren’t working, maybe yours will charge it better?”. Spoiler alert: my chargers did not charge it better. Somehow they had manage to bust the charging circuit. Now the phone would only hold about 3% battery and would turn on and off sporadically. It was basically reduced to an unreliable, tethered phone.I gave it back to them again to fix (we’re at three times now). They looked at it and tried a new battery. They then talked about sending it away to another lab to get them to look at it. They wanted me to pay for the extra work, which was a non-starter. They sent it away at their own cost eventually. At this point I thought the phone was a goner, so I bought a new one. I didn’t hear anything from them for about two weeks, then remembered them and called up. They had the phone back from the lab with a fixed charging circuit.I went in to pick it up. After entering the passcode the first time, I noticed that TouchID wasn’t working to unlock the phone. I went to Settings to check the TouchID settings and got an error that TouchID wasn’t being detected. I took it back and they said that they couldn’t guarantee TouchID would work after a screen replacement (even though it worked fine after the screen replacement until they sent it away to get the charging fixed). At this point I had had enough of trying to get the phone back to a fully working condition and gave up.To recap:* First screen replacement didn’t work if you had any moisture on your hands* Second screen replacement didn’t have a working home button* Fixing the home button broke the proximity sensor* Fixing the proximity sensor broke the charging* Fixing the charging broke TouchIDOn the plus side, my phone has a new screen!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.UNRELIABLE AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING5 DAYS FOR A 1 1/2 HR JOB ON A PHONE NEEDED URGENTLY.WAS TOLD WOULD TAKE 1 /2 HRS TO FIX. PH RETURNED FAR WORSE THAN WHEN GIVEN TO SHOP TO REPAIR !!!Phone was dropped at shop on Thursday for a new battery.Was told battery would arrive overnight and it would take 1 1/2 hrs max to fix.No contact from them at all.Sat morn phoned them and was told they were working on it then.first review was removed whn a phone call was recieved from them complaining about the poor review that was posted and saying it would be dropped off Sunday morning..No show as expected.Now recieved a call sayn it wasnt the battery and phone isnt working so to pick it up on Monday...Yea right .. they probally f.kd it and tried to fix it which is why its taken so long.If it hadnt had to be paid the $95 in advance it wouldnt hav been paid at all.5 days for a 1 1/2 hr fix to get it back not going!!!Picked up today . Not working and was returned with the back totally shattered as well.Was told I would refund would be given if this eeview was removed this was agreed as refund was needed.THIS POST WILL NOT BE REMOVED AS PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS SHOP!!!DO NOT TRUST IT MORRINSVILLE WITH YOUR ITEMS.

Don’t even waste your time had an iPhone 8 Plus screen replaced the home button fell out then the bottom of the screen wasn’t even attached to the phone had a massive gap…. $150 for this went back in and the guy said it’s because the screen got replaced… I have a refurbished iPhone and it’s not like that come on!! Won’t be back if you can get to Hamilton they do a better job and half the price!

They damaged the screen of my phone and didn’t say anything. The screen wasn’t even replaced properly and was sticking up in one corner. When another company did the repairs they noted it was already damaged. Company refused to repair it and blamed me for it saying that they told me they were going to break it when they did not. They are extremely rude and not upfront about prices or damage they do. Steer clear.

My partner purchased a phone case for his iPhone after being told that if it was not the right model he could bring it back. Turns out it was the wrong model anyway and a few days later he was upgraded to the iPhone 12, and when I went in for a refund I was told it could only be swapped. My partner tried again to swap it today only to be told he was not eligible for a refund or to swap it with anything.For a small town they do a pretty good job at losing customers.

Thought I'd give fixing my phone a go instead of buying a cheap replacement.All the ones in Hamilton quoted me between 350 - 450 which was way too much, but IT King Morrinsville quoted me much less then that.They fixed it in a few days and my phone feels like brand new! Awsome work and will definitely come back here again for future repairs.
