It is an amazing restaurant with an inviting ambiance. The staff all seem to be a family, all servers were so well versed with the menu!! 5 stars to the team... The food was good, the last course of meat was not for me. It is an expensive place. Could have done with a slightly larger serving of dessert!!

I’ve arrived to Aoasta at 9:30 PM after quickly scanning on google what was opened at that time. I was Welcomed very warmly by the staff. They were great at walking through the menu and made recommendation:I’ve Ordered:- South land swede - beautiful with some Gorgonzola and salad (swede is a kind of turnip)- Tagliatelle with mushroom- And the best for the end… their own recipe of tiramisu that they prepared in front of me!They recommended great NZ wines. Made me taste two options. And I’ve picked one of the two.Open kitchen and great atmosphere. Strongly recommend if you come by :-)

The BEST restaurant we had in NZ because of this one dish. We were in NZ for a month, travelled both north and south, ate at different price points but till date I can remember vividly how tasteful the Kina Pappardelle was!It was so good that we had another portion ever after a full meal. Never knew a good plate of pasta could bring me so much joy.

Not sure what was better, the drive and scenery from Queenstown to Arrowtown, or the food from Aosta!From the Otago pinots available, all the way through to the vegetarian mains and desserts - it was hard to fault anything.We ordered the foccacia, heirloom tomatoes, funghi tagliolini, kina pappardelle and the tiramisu to finish off. Off the bat, all the dishes were amazing with our favourite being the pappardelle (thanks for making this vegetarian for us!) The flavour of the cured egg yolk paired with the noodles and herbs perfectly, so good we ended up dipping the foccacia into it to not waste a drop.Finishing off with some tiramisu playing infront of us was a great way to end the night.Overall, amazing tasting food - on the pricier side however once you had your first bite, you'd be hard to say no! A must visit for any one looking for a delicious meal in a great venue.

We had the pleasure of dining at Aosta. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. It's clear that they take great pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of their food and service.We started off with some delicious starters that set the tone for the rest of the meal. The angus steak and lamb dishes were cooked to perfection and were bursting with flavor. Don’t forget to finish off the night with the must try tiramisu dessert - it was out of this world!If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience in Arrowtown, we highly recommend Aosta Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

The chef's plate was a amazing experience, it was a great way to sample a lot of things on the menu. All the dishes were exquisite and presented beautifully, the wet aged sirloin and the kumara ravioli truly stood out. Special meal to round out a memorable holiday.

Wow, the food was just amazing. We booked a 8:30pm dinner and went for their tasting menu. To be honest I did not have much expectation especially after many days early morning start for skiing, we were all ready tired and it took a while for the staff to turn the tables around for us so by the time we ordered it was around 9pm.As soon as the food came on the table we were all pleasantly surprised, everything was great, it really was. This is the only place that we’ll definitely come back again and again!

Wonderful staff, gorgeous hospitality.Oysters were bitter… squid was way over seasoned, but that’s where the negatives end.MUST GET:✨ TIRAMISU! Thank me later, the best tiramisu I’ve had in my life so far, I was so full at the end but couldn’t stop Eating it!✨ Mushroom pasta was quite delish, a certain acidity in the midst of the fungi umami with perfectly cooked pastaPaua pasta not bad, a little sparing.Kingfish was fresh and lightly seasoned, felt like the ingredients spoke for itself and the dressing did little to elevate it.Tartare, not bad, but not amazing, flavor wasn’t amazing, in fact a bit bland but big points on presentation.
