Dell'Amore Bridal

I had a lovely experience with Valerie at Dell'Amore Bridal. My mum and I drove to Clevedon on Friday 27th January just as the bad weather was hitting Auckland. When we arrived, Valerie explained that they had lost power due to the storm. She went out of her way to make it a special occasion by lighting candles in replacement of lights. Valerie was fantastic at understanding the style of dress that I liked and had some amazing pieces to try on.

Dell'Amore is the most charming bridal store and I knew I would fall in love with one of their dresses just based off what I saw on their website. (I was right!)Valerie has such a sweet, warm and hospitable nature. She was like my fairy godmother and helped me find my dream dress at my first appointment! She asked such great questions before we even started trying anything on. She understood my vision, and I feel like she had a sense of who I was as a person. My dress was PERFECT. I am beyond happy with my experience here.I'd like to add that Vera is an excellent seamstress. They both gave me great advice and offered suggestions I wouldn't have considered for myself during my fittings. They clearly know what they are doing, which set me at ease and allowed me to enjoy the process without any stress.Every dress they sell is an unique work of art! I highly recommend Dell'Amore to anyone who wants a dress that is not only beautiful, but memorable.

I got my wedding dress from Dellamore Bridal and it was one of the best decisions I made. Not only was the dress itself a dream but working with Valerie was wonderful. She was the one that suggested I try this dress on and she really is fantastic at what she does. It was the perfect dress. Once it got ordered Valerie was great at communicating with me and letting me know where it was in the process of being made. She also was incredibly accommodating and went the extra length to have it safety shipped to Wellington. She is such a kind, professional and lovely person. And the dress was perfection, it completed a magical day! Thank you so so much Dellamore Bridal! I couldn’t have been happier and recommend their services 100%!!

Amazing experience. Valerie looked after us so well, treating us to the true wedding experience with beautiful gowns, champagne and sweet treats! Dell'Amore stocks beautiful bespoke gowns, and the quality and level of craftsmanship is truely impeccable. Ended up going with a different gown from another store, but would highly recommend the wedding dress experience at Dell'Amore

The moment I stepped into this charming little place in Clevedon, I knew it would be the place I’d end up buying my wedding dress from. Valarie is the most hospitable, kindest, and loveliest vendor we worked with for the wedding.I came in with my sister and Valarie sat us down and asked me a few questions to begin. She is clearly very experienced and personally invested in each client because the questions she asked helped her gain an overall understanding of the type of bride I was which helped us narrow down the kind of dresses I may be interested in. She cared about every single detail right down to the temperature of the room and the music we wanted to listen to during the fitting which helped create the perfect atmosphere for each visit. She took care of each dress, wearing gloves and treating them with respect which assured me she’d treat my dress the same way.We began trying on dresses and I had already been to a bunch of other bridal shops around Auckland so thought I knew how it would go… but instead of me picking dresses I thought I might like, she brought dresses out one at a time based on the conversation we just had. I thought this was perfect because sometimes as a bride you can get overwhelmed at this stage and it’s hard to know what you really want. She would show my sister the dress first (I thought that was a nice touch) and then bring it into the changing room to help me put it on. At this point I would have an understanding on if I liked it or not then I would step out of the changing room and have an opportunity to see the dress in the full-length mirror. I loved this process as it meant I didn’t rush to conclusions based on looks and was given the opportunity to judge the dress first on how I felt in it. I saw my dream dress that first day but had to bring in my bridesmaids another day to get their opinions too. Then I came back again with just my family to make the final decision. Valerie was patient and kind through every step of the way even though I took 3 visits to make my final decision (which was of course the dream dress I tried on the first day). We celebrated with drinks, and she kindly took some photos for us and made it a very special moment.Through the entire process Valarie was very transparent on the timings and costs – even showing me the tailoring pricing list in case it needed to be further adjusted when it arrived. The dresses get made overseas to the nearest sample size and then get readjusted by the inhouse tailor, Vera, if needed. I also would like to add that Vera was amazing. She is passionate and great at what she does. I even ended up getting her to make the top for my reception outfit which was an Indian outfit, and she did the most beautiful job and my mum and sister also got her to do theirs!!I felt at a lot of other stores you get treated as just another customer and they charge you fees to simply enter the store and look at their dresses which are usually just stock standard ones. I’ve been telling all my engaged friends to go here because above the beautiful selection of unique dresses, Valarie will give you the most wonderful experience and truly makes you feel like the only bride in the world.Thanks Valarie for being there through my bridal dress journey.

I am so so happy I chose to get my dress from Dell'Amore Bridal! Valerie went above and beyond for me, and I can't thank her enough! The experience of buying a dress was amazing, and you can tell that Valerie is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I felt special and cared for from the moment I arrived at her gorgeous little studio. The dress I chose was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't have been happier. Valerie was essentially my fairy god mother! Having to make a quick decision on a date in the midst of Covid-19, I had very little time to find my dream dress. I walked in thinking I wanted something totally boho and (we tried on almost every dress) but Valerie encouraged me to try the one on the mannequin (that my eyes just kept going back too!). I fell in love with the dress as soon as I stepped into it. Valerie was so sweet, patient and guided me through the whole process. We had to get a rush order through plus she helped me with fittings and extra alterations once the dress did arrive! I couldn't recommend her enough... my dress journey was so easy and all made possible because of Val. Thank you thank you, i still get comments and compliments from our wedding day and everyone just loved the dress :) I couldn't have dreamed up a better design. So much appreciation to you Val and what you do ❤
