Established in 2017, Ruapehu Brewing Co. started brewing in the small heritage railway station building in Ohakune's Junction area. This was the districts first brewery. Fast forward to a new brewery built in the centre of Ohakune.

100% recommend this brewery as a spot to visit when in Ohakune! Stopped in for a brewery tour which was led by Austin - super knowledgeable and passionate guy and really made the tour personal and enjoyable. Great hospitality and even better beer! Thanks for your time Austin and Nicole :)

Super friendly team, passionate about great beer and great times and the people around them. Defo try their hazy IPA, unlimited vis super easy and refreshing also just made the top 30 in the new world beer and cider awards

Excellent brewery! Matched by the friendliness and knowledge of Austin & the crew, really cool to have a yarn about how the product comes to be! Heaps of taps running in the tap room, tastings, flaggons! Just awesome!

Great local brewery! Awesome beer! My parents were in town and took them for a tasting, we loved Mr Robinson Amber and Nee Cold IPA. Great experience, Thank you!Don’t forget to try the honey meads!
