Good experience, food was okay. I prefer thick curry, so I don’t think I would grab curry. I still would love to try something else.

I am always a fan of Maya's, but ordered food online as I dont get much time these days! Look at the pic, disappointed and wasted 50$ for nothing! Its too old burnt and liver is spoiled or reheated again n again and so the briyani! Ordered at 11.30am so shld be old food! Completly lost trust

We were browsing through for a good Indian restaurant near our area and we found Maya's bistro; it already had great reviews so me and my husband happened to try it out. After a very long time we had such delcious and authentic South Indian food. Chicken chilly, Apollo fish is a must try dish. If you a fan of South Indian food, chicken Chettinad is something you can't miss. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. And were back again the next weekend we our group of friends. Tried chicken 65, meat platter can't rave enough.This place is just 6 weeks old and it's a 5 star service with great ambience. Reddy is an amazing host, suggested some great cocktails. Maya's bistro is my favourite go to restaurant in South Auckland.9

Worst experience, Yesterday i have ordered chicken biriyani for my son take away. While my son started eating, my son told me the biriyani is not good then I also touch the biriyani it looks like it was cooked two or three days back. i was disgusted that's why i throw into the bin . Definitely next time when i go back and buy the biriyani if the quality does not improve i will complaint to the food and safety department. i am just wondering how you get this good reviews when i experience this kind of bad quality.

It was my marriage anniversary and I was hunting desperately a genuine place to eat regardless the flash or size of the outlet. Couple of days ago I came across this little gem hidden among other places at chapel road named MAYA SOUTH INDIAN BISTRO. The place is small but it beats lots of well reputed restaurant and bistro in entire Auckland region. As a professional hotelier, I have been to many places and TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS it's worth every penny you spent at this place.Service is just amazing . It felt like I have been sitting at home and my own family is looking after me. Every food was well crafted and served in beautiful way. CHILLI CHICKEN is something you wanna try for sure. I will return again and again and again. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR LOOKING AFTER US. IT WAS A SPECIAL DAY FOR ME AND YOU JUST MADE IT SO MEMORABLE.

Very disappointed. Lollipop was super oily thick batter and served with sweet chilli sauce...worst we've ever had and paid $20 for it! Soup was ok. We left to have mains at a different place.
