Would give a negative score if this was possible. Decided to end my lease after paying a month ahead and had my refund request declined due to not having a full month's refund to return. Similar bs to insurance premiums where they have the right to keep residual payments. Manager of Taita site is absolutely horrendous. She is rude and ill-mannered and should look to getting a more suitable job as a parking warden or in collections where the customer isn't paying her to be a see you next Tuesday.

I used these guys when moving between houses. I used the online estimate quote that was easy and it worked out perfect for my houselot. It was easy to unload and load from my unit as I could drive up to the door. The staff that i dealt with (mainly Joe) were great and very helpful.

Unfortunately I have to amend my review. Indeera at The Taita Centre was brilliant and took care of me, for that I am grateful. However, both the Refunds team and Customer solutions team at Head office are incompetent. It’s mind blowing how incompetent they are yet still maintain employment which baffles me. I requested a refund of my credit 16 June, today is 20 July and I’m still waiting. This is beyond a joke. After I sent a screenshot of their Refund policy in their terms and conditions the Refunds team contacted me via email a month and a day later 17 July stating my refund has been Approved (no apology) and required my bank account details which I sent that same day. Does it take days to input my information into their system and transfer payment to my account? It’s surreal. I will never use National Storage again and it would be wise for others to avoid them like the plaque!

We have a smaller unit, they are clean and seem weather proof and pest controlled. Service was nice and efficient, though apparently the online portal gives you incorrect access codes that have to be corrected in person so I would time your first move to business hours. We only docked a star because the small units are incredibly short (height-wise). They don't have height listed on the website so we assumed it would be close to normal room height but it's closer to 5ft7in so had to do a huge game plan shift which you don't need during a move!

I have had a storage unit there since 2016 and all smooth sailing until of late, the staff are incredibly rude, after advising them my bank accounts in Australia have been closed they still tried to direct debit , of course it wouldn't work , but Carol still decided to charge late fees of firstly $11, but in a bitter slap in the face move then after even being told that I would call in and pay following week still tried the direct debit again and another $11 fee !I noted on the way out to the unit that there is plenty of competition available for storage and I strongly urge you to try them and avoid this place at any cost.Anyway I have been back out and cleaned the rat droppings out of the unit so that I don't get charged for the cleaning as well. Sadly a lot of what I had stored needs to be dumped as the obvious lack of rodent control has caused damage to most of what I had in storage.DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AVOID NATIONAL STORAGE TAITA!!!

Couldnt get in one night as my card was never activated" found this odd as I had been there half a dozen times befor but no option to have gate opened. Has now happened again excuse this time "changed system" pretty disorganized for a simple bussiness that only needs to safely store your stuff and give A C C E S S......."
