Went for Fish and Chips on Monday when Whakatane F nCh shops are closed. Very pleasant service. Pleased with the F n Chips. Will go back next time. The Chinese selection looked really good.

Used to be a great place to eat, but now they give fried rice etc in smaller containers, yet prices are the same or higher. Noodles have next to no flavor now. It's almost like they have lost their love for cooking. Such a shame.

Noodle Canteen Whakatāne - I had ordered 2 Laksas & 1 Satay Chicken. First time I had been and I won't be back again. The laksa did not taste like laksa at all. It tasted more like a wonton noodle soup. And the satay chicken, was bland and barely had a satay taste to it.

Food has a great wok aroma, and pleasantly presented.Could do with more meat to balance out the dish, but great tasting.

Absolutely love going into noodle canteen!!! Love love love the honey chicken fried noodles, service was quick and I got my meal in 10 minutes
