Newlands Court Motels

Not recommend for business people at all. I had a meeting with one of our supplier and couldn't connect coz of slow Internet. Then I had to use my mobile phone Hotspot. Poor service in overal.First night I woke up at around 2 am coz some people next to me decided they want to laugh loudly at midnight and they continued at least till 4 am. The same issue the day after (weekdays). It is coz of poor management.It is very expensive compare to what you get. I will never stay there anymore and not recommend it to anyone.

This is genuinely the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in (and I've seen my fair share of bad Motels). Myself and my two sisters were up for 2 nights for a funeral and this was very last minute accommodation (nothing else under $1000 left in the wellington area for those nights). I will start with the positive, they happily accommodated my second sister at quite late notice which was very appreciated. However, when we first arrived after 6 hours at the funeral, we were pretty busting to go to the loo. Unfortunately the toilet was completely clogged and although the young man at the front desk made a valiant effort to unclog it it was no use. We understand that it was a long weekend but the fact that we had no access to a working toilet in our room for 3 days was a bit shocking!! General uncleanleness with black mould in the bathroom and stained sheets made for an altogether unpleasant atmosphere. When the issue of the toilet was brought to the front desk the next day we were told (quite rudely) that we should just look for accommodation elsewhere if we were not happy with the $20 per night refund they were willing to offer. Normally we wouldn't be ones to complain but honestly I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Unpleasant and expensive. Small room with no windows, broken incomplete and very minimal furniture. Broken tap wear. Good point was comfy bed and laundry hire sheets so clean.

Rooms were nice but small, looks like they have been recently renovated. We had no hot water for showers all 3 days we stayed, which is a health and safety breach. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Sheets had stains and bed was hard and uncomfortable .Fridge had a freezer compartment that kept ice frozen that was great! Bathroom was nice and great size. Milk was never refilled and I had to look for milk in the mornings to have a coffee.Wifi is only free 1gb per day per room, then you have to pay. Overall, not a great experience. Wouldn't stay again!!!!!!

False advertising. The rooms were not expected to be that horrid. There were stains on the sheets and marks on the walls. Not to mention the musty sofas." The free 1 GB of data was not honoured as advertised so they demanded $15 for wifi. Once paid we got the slowest connection

Stayed here 3 times over the last few months. Always had a great experience and rooms have always been immaculate. Nara is soo lovely and such a great host. Always remembers me and gives me a 5 star welcome.So close to both ferries (10 min drive) and I’ve found rates to be very reasonable for this reason.Will continue to come back to Newlands Court.

There were stains on the sheets and towels. The curtain was hanging via one hook so we put it back up to find it did not cover the door (which was frosted, but meant the light shone into the room). Hole in wall where an electrical plug should have been.

Clean, tidy and modern. Shower was a-mazing. We stayed in Family, 2 bedroom unit (4 of us), thought it was a tad small to accommodate the amount of people to beds available. Curtains needed to be darker to block out the amount of light that poured in at night.Day 1 car had a flat battery, one of the staff members came over and offered us a jump start which saved us a huge headache.Would stay again.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the manager at this property is great. He is very helpful and beyond making your stay comfortable. Thank you so much. I will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Pretty disgusting - stained sheets, hair in bed, mould on walls and around skirtings, mould on the towels, cleaning products left in the bathroom as if they had not finished cleaning, floors were dirty too
