Comfort Hotel Flames
We originally booked for one night, but ended up extending our stay an extra night as we loved it so much.We stayed in a bay view room, and it didn't disappoint. Views were amazing.All the staff went above and beyond, were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast both days and it was perfect.Very child friendly (we had our 16 month old with us)Would definitely visit again!

Great location, handy to Whangarei Airport. They have a free courtesy van for airport pick ups & drop offs which was awesome.Stayed two nights, food at the restaurant was top notch and was prepared so fast. Lots of communication from restaurant staff asking if the meal was ok and if we were happy. Rooms were clean and tidy and quiet. Staff were eager and motivated which reflects on good leadership and management. Would definitely recommend staying here. Too good to pass up.

Many hotels/motels in Whangarei are dodgy but this is the exception: nice large rooms, daily clean, lovely view on the tropical garden + swimming pool giving it a nice tropical touch. If you are used to (international) standards this is one of the few places in Whangarei to go. Great management (Raewyn and team) and lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Comfort Inn - very good value for money. Clean comfortable rooms and really nice staff, very helpful. We were at an event Parua Bay so good location for us - easy distance to Parua and easy distance to town for meals etc., would definitely recommend

Rooms are clean and enough space. Parking is plenty available (front and back of hotel). Special thanks to Arthur for his recommendation for our dinner selection. Delicious fish and steak meal.Bf was delicious too.Overall great value, highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Flames Comfort Hotel in Whangarei.I was visiting family in the area and my grandmother joined me for the trip.From the moment we arrived, the staff at the hotel were super welcoming and accommodating.Making sure that we had everything we needed.The room itself was spacious and clean, with all the amenities included.The location was also great, next to a beautiful forest walk,a small basic shopping center with a second hand shopand a beautiful sunset view.the place is great for those who are looking for some real peace and quiet.the food at the restaurant was fresh and felt like it was made with great care.on the other night they also hosted a Jazz concert which was beautiful.Overall, we had a wonderful time.Recommended :)
