After a long day house-hunting in Whangarei we settled on Burger Fuel as a passable option to sort us for the drive home. Sought out the local branch online and called up to place a phone order. Very friendly & helpful guy on the other end took our order, deftly dealing with my chronic mumbling and desire for an old favourite burger that hasn't been on the menu for years.Got to the restaurant and, man, what a cool place. Great decor, lighting and vibe. Superb staff who clearly enjoy what they do. The owner's right amongst it with his team, and out on the floor making sure every customer is happy. So very impressive, proper OG service.Food better than any other Burger Fuel I have visited, no word of a lie. Fast, fresh, well presented and super tasty.Cannot wait till we move and will be able to make dining here a regular habit.Go. Nosh out. Be Happy.

I told the guy when I ordered no onion, and guess what there was onion! I am fructose intolerant. My body can't process the natural sugar and i can be in pain for hours, faint or other issues. I left half my burger and left the store in pain. Not happy.

Fantastic service as always and lovely and clean and stylish decor. V twin burger very sweet, lacking flavour and over sauced which was pouring out. A good varied menu and new offerings so worth a visit

I ordered the wrong fries with my burger and when they arrived I was confused she offered to swap them over and insisted that it would be no trouble I said no thank you I appreciate it 1-2mins later the owner/manager dropped of some kumara fries and said try them with the Chipotle sauce it's good. I was saying no you don't have to but he insisted. Above and beyond absolutely beautiful service, he's such a great person.

Burgers are better than other branches, fresher and presented nicely on serving plates. The place was very busy but waiting time was reasonable, it's actually fast service. The tables are cleaned after each dinner. And the toilet is clean too. There is sufficient parking as wel with parking spaces shared between the shopsl and the location is close to the city center.

Love the burgers. Staff always helpful. Not a cheap burger, but they are amazing. It's more like a restaurant meal than a takeaway . Had the Wild Heart rescued burger. Gorgeous

I was looking for halal options and found that BF does halal separately. Not a big fan of burgers but this one was quite nice and halal.

Love going here because they do lettuce buns. Brilliant if you can't eat any grains.Free range chicken and grass fed beef. Perfect in any way! Keep it going.
