Awesome place to stay I spend the winters here working. And love to come stay here awesome facilities and most of all the owners. Are very nice an welcoming. And have helped me a lot. This is the most accommodating. Camp ground I have been to. A big thanks to the owners.

Cairnmuir Motor Camp
Well equipped kitchen with fridges and freezers, barbecue, toilets, showers, playground. Close to water. Tents and cars allowed. 18$ per night per person, 2GB on WiFi included. Small store in reception and plenty of DVDs, which are able to borrow.

Cairnmuir Motor Camp
I have been in a lot of camping grounds in the last 8 months. This is one of my top favourites. It is basic in the sense of older facilities. But everything is really clean, the areas are well thought out. The owners are really friendly. We will be back.

This location is quiet and set amongst surrounding vine wards.About a 10 minute drive to Cromwell.I have been to this camp ground 3 times in 5 months!

Extremely well priced, clean and cozy, awesome fireplace, large high pressure showers. Older facilities, but friendly kiwi hospitality more than makes up for it. Good mix of long term guests and travellers. Will happily return.

Very nice, funny and helpful owner! They were actually fully booked due to peak season but somehow managed to squeeze us into a spot knowing we had nowhere to go. Facilities not new but are clean enough. Got plenty of toilet and shower cubicles. And must mention - the two lovely dogs made my day!

Cairnmuir Motor Camp
Lovely place to stop over. The owners are friendly and super easy to talk to. Martine gave me so much information about the region and what to do. The facilities are adequate for my basic needs. Hot shower and kitchen are all you need in a camp ground! Everything works and the cleaner lady maintained the place well. I will definitely come back again whenever I am in Central Otago. Loved my stay here!
