Who would have thought the chore of getting a Cof would be met with such amazing service, from both the ladies in the office to the guys that carried out the work. So incredibly friendly and helpful that I had to give a review (something I seldom do). Thank u!

Dont take your full driving test here. Me, my wife and our friends also failed from this same testing officer (Martin A.) and we all have the same comment on this testing officer which is he is very strict and is looking for mistake just to fail you. after a couple of weeks, Me, my wife and our friends all passed our full driving test and got our full license from other vtnz location. Better to take your practical exam elsewhere. I would certainly not recommend this location for driving exams.

Pleased to have passed. Nice people. Disappointed that I had to stand outside with my dog while the COF was being done on the motorhome. A seat or two outside would be an idea perhaps as dogs aren't allowed inside at New Plymouth.

One of the testing officers for practical licence tests, Donna was one of the rudest and most unpleasant people I have ever dealt with. Snatched my licence off of me without saying hello and was extremely rude in general. After talking to others their experiences have been the same like getting failed for “running a orange light“ when the light changed at a time Which wasn’t safe to stop. I haven’t come across a single person who has had a pleasant experience with her

I was lucky enough to go in at a time that wasn't busy. The receptionists were both really friendly and chatty and the mechanic, Fotu, was also super friendly and helpful. Great service. This was my second time here as I had previously taken my daughter's vehicle through about six months ago, it was busier but we experienced the same great service that time too.
