This place is the real deal. They don’t always serve the best known Indonesian dishes but go for a more interesting selection of mostly Javanese and Sumatran cuisines, done authentically with high quality ingredients. They also don’t warn you about how spicy it might be, so if you’re not into having your face melted, it’s your job to ask. The staff are friendly, fast, and helpful. We ordered more food than the two of us could eat and our total was $68. The ribs with peanut mango sauce are fantastic.

As it's a street food type eatery, the food is excellent not like the real street food in Indonesia. The original taste food has been adjusted to western taste. If you like Indonesian food, this is the place to be.

Tiny little place on Dominion. This place is not about fancy deco but all about yummy food. Portions were generous. We had grilled beef rib with mango sambal and grilled chicken thigh. Both were super tasty. Meat were tender and flavourful. For today's mid inflation standard, I feel that you are getting a lot of food for what you pay. The sambal is quite mild, I think tuned for kiwi palate. If you like spicy food you gotta ask chef to take it up a notch.

Yummy Indonesian food - in the pics are: mie ayam (chicken noodle -indonesian street style), es campur ( shaved ice dessert) and nasi Kapau ( Authentic rice dishes from Padang with rendang and curry).Good indonesian hospitality & good ambience. Highly recommend to try this place for Authentic Indonesian Food.

A newly opened Indonesian restaurant, very friendly staff, I like their deep fried tofu with peanut sauce, but feel a bit sweet, and Indonesian fried rice was good as well. Next time I would like to try some their house made chill sauce.

What I love about Indonesian food is you can go to different part of Indonesia and have completely different food taste profile! It feels like go to different country! So, this is another style of indonesian restaurant,I tried their ribs with mango chilli, batagor, tahu, sate and baksoI have to give this restaurant 5 out of 5 considering their price and how awesome their food is!!!If you love spicy food like myself, try their sambal on the table... and add a bit of sweet soy sauce kecap manis"

Great new find in Auckland as I love Indonesian food. I think it would take a few trips to find the best dish to order. Ayam Bakar Bumbu Rujak was quite good but the Iga Bakur Sambal Mangga was a bit disappointing as it was dry and lacked a kick to it.
