John did a really great job on our property trimming and removing trees from our section. He got rid of few trees that really opened up our section and the lighting into our house and trimmed the others that really made our place look a lot better.We were really happy with his service, he gave good advice when we discussed what we wanted, gave us a couple of options that we hadn't thought of and was very clean and tidy removing all the branches and leaves etc.We were recommended John and we would definitely recommend him as well. I always call on Pirongia Trees for my tree maintenance. John does a great job, mulches my branches - which I love for my garden, and leaves the section pristine. I got a few quotes before choosing John - his rates are really reasonable, especially given he does such an awesome job. He's very knowledgeable too and has given me advice on the condition of my trees. I highly recommend him.

Contacted John to discuss removal of a large silver birch tree. Response was prompt and a clear discussion regarding removal and leaving of a stump. John did the work as discussed, leaving minimal mess and damage to surrounding trees/garden. I am very pleased with the job; also had a number trees removed a few years ago. John was really helpful at our playcentre, responsive and timley. He was nice enough to drop the mulch off at another location for me.
