I'm really impressed with the service. My vehicle was making a noise and found out it was unsafe to drive. TAC investigated it and fixed it straight away as soon as part arrived and told me what was wrong and helped me when I don't live in this district.The service was outstanding and really appreciate all the info and repair parts back when it was the same parts replaced 10 months ago.Thank you so muchMelissa

We cannot recommend these people highly enough. We suffered a break down on the Taupo road, the day after cyclone Gabrielle hit. These folk were amazing and got us moving again by end of day. Super helpful, supportive and friendly. If you are in trouble these guys are the place to head. Many thanks to the team !

Our van’s engine light came on not far from Turangi so we decided to get it checked out.Despite being super busy, Simon and his team managed to sort the misfire in time for us to get our ferry from Wellington to the South Island. There was a period of a few anxious hours when the problem could not be identified and the campervan company informed us that they had no spare vans before the ferry crossing.Simon kept us updated throughout, and even let us stay in the yard over night while we were waiting for repairs to be completed.Thank you loads Simon, you got us out of a tight one!

We have had to call on these guys once before and that experience was so good we didn't hesitate to call them when we suffered a break down on the Desert Road last week that required a vehicle recovery to their workshop. The staff are very polite, courteous, professional and they helped make a very stressful time much easier for our family.They also hired us a rental car to complete our journey which was a real bonus.We highly recommend them as a great service.

Took our Land Rover for a warrant, failed, was told it had a perished suspension bush and the hand brake didn’t hold. Vehicle had done 100km since last warrant, we failed to see how the bush had perished in 6months, where 3 of those months it sat in their work shop. Tūrangi Autos admitted whoever did the last warrant obviously didn’t do a proper job, when they were told they did the last warrant they said that’s not the case and they had no record. The old warrant label clearly has Tūrangi Autos as the issuer. The hand brake holds firm when tested on a hill, I suspect they don’t realise the hand brake locks the diff not the wheel brakes. $72 on a non issued warrant and extremely unreliable and dismissive service.

The team at Turangi Auto Centre were super helpful. From the time they picked my car up for towing; right up until they organised the tow back to my own garage, they were nothing but professional and helpful. They diagnosed my vehicle and provided a report, provided numbers for rental a taxi services to enable me to get mobile and liaised with AA on my behalf. You absolutely removed a large portion of the stress, thanks so much :)

Hi there just wanna thank the team at turangi auto's for the help they have given to our family with the repair of a radiator accident which has been an on going battle with insurance an claims ect its now been a little over a month an was a little bit confused on the length of time this has taken to fix..I've just been told that I now have to wait for gas in the heating system to be filled witch is now going to take another day or when ever so they say to sort out there has been very little communication and i have had to ring them several times to then be told that they will ring me back when we get these matters sorted been told this several times already is this fair or am I wrong.thanks

Awesome prompt, friendly and accommodating service. Called them at 9pm and had us back on the road by 9am the next day.
