Kumeu Boarding Kennels

Our 2 dogs have just spent 4 days at Kumeu Boarding Kennels. It is the first time in a long while they have been away from us and we were apprehensive. Beverly and her wonderful staff could not have done more to put us at ease. Showed me around when I got out there and clearly explained how it all worked. The dogs came back clean, happy and relaxed. Top notch thank you.

This Kennel and Bev the owner are the best.We have been regular customers for almost 11 years and our dog Angus is so happy to go - also happy when coming home. You can tell he has been well socialised and well exercised.Love your work Bev and thanks for looking after our boy so well.Shelley

I worked at Kumeu boarding kennels for 10 Months when I was visiting beautiful New Zealand. I can tell you with complete honesty, this is by far the best kennels in Auckland! The level of care given to your dog while they're there is magnificent.I saw rescue dogs having had multiple owners change completely, from being anxious and scared to happy, playful and confident. I saw Puppies bond and grow to be the best of friends.Many dogs came for a visit In my time there. For a while or for doggy day care. Every single one of them was given an exceptional amount of love and care from the minute they arrived to the minute they left.This completely secure, gated facility boasts 5 glorious green paddocks for your dogs to have all the exercise they could need.Yours and your dogs needs couldn't be better met!

We brought our 14 year old Hati to Kumeu Boarding Kennels for the first time a week ago and picked her up today (our old kennel shut down over the pandemic). They took fantastic care of her. Hati looked very happy, relaxed and was smiling the whole way home. I really liked that Beverly asked a lot of cautious questions before accepting Hati and that she explained why she was asking them. It looks like this kennel has exactly the right mix of activities and relaxation for young dogs but also for somewhat elderly dogs like ours, and they are careful about the mix of dogs they accept. Strong recommendation, we will bring Hati back.

I've never stayed there but my dog has and he seems to LOVE IT!! Never a backward glance from him as they take him in to start his holiday!!Lovely owner who is so dedicated to her work she seems to forget to sleep at times!!Top Notch place.

Okay, our Lil girl Soul was a resident of KBK under the care of Bev and her team (Jack especially) for approximately 4-5 months due our housing crisis resulting in pets not being allowed on site. And due to our situation and Soul needing a place to house her Beverly was there to support us and Soul thru our trying time - Bev without your love, support, guidance and care, the stress surrounding our Lil girl and her needs was quite unfathomable however, you put all of our stresses at ease. Visiting Soul and seeing her flourishing, happy, fit and healthy was something a family so needed to see thus our smiles were very wide and joyful. Your team were very aware of her quirks and needs and when we took her out or for the weekend she was well aware of where she was going to and she knew the procedures required of her on our return. We are doing better and Soul is thriving. Apologies for this reviews lateness albeit we as a family including Soul wish to wholeheartedly Thank you personally for all that you did for us especially the speed in which you took Soul on - Soul says woof woof too. Kumeu Kennels are amazing and we love sending our dog Jonty there! They have big open grassed space for him to run around in and he always seems to team up with a mate. The staff are fantastic and looking at their regular updates of the pooches on Instagram you can see they clearly enjoy doing what they do. This makes it so nice to know when you're away and it's great too when Jonty comes home with a big smile on his face! :)

The staff at Kumeu Kennels genuinely care and love the dogs. I know Bruno loves going there because he starts jumping around the car with excitement as soon as we pull into the driveway. Bev is very knowledgeable and is always happy to help with any behavior worries. Highly recommended.
