Sadly this is my local takeaway, however I have never had a good dish from there, tonight I was tired so rather than drive to welcome bay, I thought I would give them another chance.My wonton soup in my photos sadly is worse than last time.The broth is awful the vegetables are overcooked or possibly not fresh.But what I can't actually stomach (and won't be eating is the wonton, I can't really identify the taste or if they have any filling, but they are like eating slime....sorry this is not recommended and the shop is not clean enough for my liking.......sadly the service is not friendly unless the student is working.....

First time trying Ohauiti takeaways. We were wanting to get Chinese but it was all over by the time we got there around 7pm which was ashame. We ended up getting the $8 fish and chips bundle ( family special) and a $8 hamburger + fish + chip deal. Everything was good and cooked well. Hamburgers were nice to. Will post a picture of them next time. Would be great if they could add the hours on the door of when Chinese takeaways is avaliable as the person who served us wasn't sure and I'd love to try it!

ordered over the phone & verified if spring rolls were vegetarian, which they said they were. picked up the order & there were two squid rings instead of spring rolls, i went back to get the spring rolls and they were definitely not vegetarian.... so chips it was for me, and they were average too ://

Been going here for years now as it's local. The chips are like gross it's either burnt or dry as hell . Not seasoned enough and everything else taste way too oily

Crinkle chips - overcookedChicken burger plain and bland with overcooked chicken patty.Spring rolls great if aniseed is your favorite taste and you like mince and celery.Chicken wonton taste like a beef pot pie with chicken and spaghetti noodles added in it. Would not recommend unless you're giving it to someone you dislike.

Best nasi goring and sweet and sour pork around.Always just cooked - hot and fresh, made to order. Have been coming here for years.Not sure why lots of reviews saying owner is grumpy. Possibly language barrier and maybe he is busy trying to cook delicious Chinese.We love it, come here atleast twice a month and have never had a gross meal.

Not good. The cook is one of the unfriendliest people you’ll meet to the point of him being quite rude at times. The food is average to bad. The chips are never good. If you order Chinese you have to pay extra for lumpy rice. But generally pretty tasty. However, the fried rice is awful being bland and just the lumpy rice, fried with cheap mix vege and minimal flavour.
