Lovely people. Thinking it was my local takeaway in Avalon in Wellington, I ordered two mega value curry n' naan dinners" here by mistake. My family were dismayed upon looking at google maps and seeing that we had a 7 and a half hour drive to pick up our dinner. Regardless

Brought a butter chicken lunch special. It was the worse thing I have ever tasted. The curry was a pale yellow colour. Did not look or taste like butter chicken. Would not recommend.

I have eaten a lot of curries at a lot of different places around New Zealand and can without any doubt say that this little place consistently produces the best curries I have ever eaten. I visit this place at least once every two weeks.

We love ordering from Avalon Indian. Service is friendly, food is consistent and delicious. Cook times are quick and on time. Best Indian takeout in Hamilton. Great price point. Delivery is on time.

The chicken was burnt and my butter chicken was watery and didn’t taste like butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala had more onions than anything

Best curry tonight. Whoever cooked me and my partner Rogan Josh, butter chicken and 2 garlic nuns, we got to say it was the best we have had in along time so thank-you.

It was the worst 60$ I have spent in a long time. The butter chicken had a fabulous sauce with 3 little pieces of chicken swimming in it. Had no idea what the next container was as it had chunks of spice and it so spicy couldn't eat it. The next container had beautiful chunks of vegetables swimming in a horrible sauce. Naan was okay. The 1 star is for the beautifully cooked rice which I paid 60$ for!!

The best butter chicken in Hamilton, in my opinion anyway! So glad that I was recommend to try their butter chicken. Never had a bad dish here yet!

Lucky FIND this place, beautiful food always amazing, cooked as I request . great staff, order ahead . butter chicken and garlic Naan beautiful! , going to go for a Rogan Josh or a curry next time , check it out .
