Mike, the owner, is an ultimate hospitality guru. He welcomed us off our bikes for a coffee and then charmed us with his warm friendly manner. He has taught himself to bake and the carrot cake was the best we have ever tasted! yes really! Great coffee, great stop, great service. Thanks Mike. Hilary & Liz

Discovered this place on the way to Pauanui in the New Year 2023. Great stop for amazing coffee and large yummy slices of ginger crunch, and choc caramel slice. Most helpful service as well.

Cycling from Kaiaua on the trail. Stopped here for lunch before heading back. Pleasantly surprised. Great homemade burgers . I had the marnated chicken burger yummy had home relish. Great buns and home baking. Highly recommend. Plus the lounge suite was a welcome relief after biking for 2.5 hours
