Lovely sheltered Park by the Oreti River great for fishing

An out-of-the way Park area. No amenities, but you can camp here for free. I was stuck in the area and locals pointed out the location of the park, which is not obvious from the road- side. There is a sign but no information. It's located just over the road bridge out of Dipton in Southland. There are spacious grassed areas, with a sealed track running through the centre. Shared with a number of sheep and next to the river.
