Hone's Garden
Wood fired pizza was delicious and plenty for two to share. We also had the rocket and pear salad and the kumara fries which were a highlight.Lovely outdoor atmosphere and the team were super friendly and helpful. Also dog friendly which was nice.

Loved everything about this place. There's a sign in the back door saying they would close soon for a private function. It didn't stop the sweet female manager to welcome us with a big smile and not even indicating that they would close. The other guy who serves us was very nice. The yard is cool, green and a trendy rustic style. Calzone for $25 was delicious, fresh and huge. My partner and I shared it and almost couldn't finish. Recommended!!!

What a great place to eat. Fantastically friendly staff, every single one. The atmosphere was great, and even had live music. If you want pizza and an array of other choices this is a place to go in Russell. I spoke with the owner to pass on my feedback, he was so pleased and intended to pass it on to his staff.

A must in Russel. A great spot with great pizza and the best beer selection in either Paihia or Russel.It can be confusing at first. There is no table service or anyone at the door so once you get in, you need to find a table for yourself and seat yourself.There are menus at the front at the bar and the main queue is to order food. If you're just ordering drinks, you can cut to the left of the big line.

Nice little garden in the heart of Russel!! My husband got himself a burrata parma ham pizza and fish tacos for myself. Fish tacos were good, pineapple salsa was a nice touch paring with deep fry fish. Local cider was alright to me. Friendly service is a plus!!

What a cool place to chill, have a drink, enjoy some good food, and hang out with music in the background. It's not waterfront but the decor and atmosphere made up for it. It's like escaping to a backyard garden. Ordered the Italian pizza, 3 oysters, side salad, fish tacos, olives, beer and juice. I recommend the pizzas.

Love the food, the service, amenities andambiance.Om, maybe not so much the ambiance - too islandy. A bit too far off the atmosphere of the quaint town.However, don’t let this take you away from the great non-commercial tasting food.

Cute place that has a great vibe. Staff is engaging and kind. We got caprese salad and pizza with ham and pineapple. Salad was good. Pizza crust was good the pineapple and ham didnt have much flavor.

Super yummy pizza! Quick service from lovely people. My partner and I had a pizza each but I couldn’t finish mine. Worth the money. Would visit again!
