He wasn’t at work but came from his time off to drain the petrol out of my fuel tank..Within an hour I was able to drive away. Brilliant and big thank you for your service. I visited the shop looking for some help to source some wheel nuts. Most shops and wreckers were closed, and I was fortunate to find Hamilton Mobile Mechanics open. The friendly owner spared his time to look through his parts drawers for suitable wheel nuts and offered them to me for free.While getting some free parts was great, it was the willingness to go out of his way to help me that meant heaps! Great workshop to visit!I am thankful!

We needed a last minute vehicle inspection on a Sunday and Fauster came to our rescue. He is a lovely guy and did a really thorough inspection. Fauster picked up on a few things for us to consider which really gave us solid confidence to negotiate our purchase. Thanks Fauster, great service. We highly recommend.

So I came to this person because he said he could help me with my overheating car. I rang him told him that I've changed thermostat etc. but still over heated so took it to this person hoping he could help. So he charged me $250 for a flush witch didn't help. $250 down the drain then he told me it could be the head gasket but told him that it wasn't but he still checked and it wasn't the head. So he suggested it was the radiator then charged me $475 plus gst which was $510 for a after market radiator that was still over heating and charged me $120 bucks labour. So really I don't know if he is a mechanic but I paid this mechanic $880 all up for my car to still overheat. Do not consider him unless otherwise

Repaired van for me within 24h on a weekend. Friendly service.Answered follow up questions correctly.Didnt feel like i was ripped off.Would use this service again.A very rare 5 star from me as was provided with correct after care advice and not pressured to pay for them to have another look.Thanks guys.

Ol Fauster ayeHe's mechanically minded and he'll tell ya what's wrong with ya car but 9 times out of 10 won't fix it and still want top dollar for a unfinished job.Example:My car wasn't starting, called fauster to come check it out.He found out it needed new spark plugs and then told me to go to repco or supercheap auto and buy 4 new sparkplugs and install them myself and had the cheek to still charge $250 without completing the job and wanted me to finish the job off hahaha

I needed to fix a couple of things on my van to pass the wof and, at first, they look like I could trust them. I did not care about the price if they were sure is what my van needed. But, once I was back at VTNZ they asked me about the mechanic that did the job and who suggested me to go there. Apparently, it was not needed to do what he has done and I should not have pay the money I paid for it.I know the place suffered from fire couple of months ago. That's why, this time I'll close one eye and learn the lesson.But, of you are a backpacker like me, that works under the sun of the fruit farms, for a bit of money and trying to save to go back home... Don't go there.Take your time to find a mechanic that will be honest and understand it.Karma is watching. And I hope they will learn their lesson as well.

My car broke down on my holiday and I took the car to this place, my insurance company towed my car to his workshop. The quote was too expensive to fix so I decided that I would tow it back home, but he wouldn't let my car out of the gate. He took my car and demanded $280 for no work done. If he would have told me, I would not take it there. I should have recorded our conversation on the phone, but I didn't think I would get scammed.I reported it to the police; they told us to call Hamilton Council, if I have longer than 1 week in Hamilton, I would not let this go.I took the car to Auckland Mechanic and the guy checked my car without any charge. It just shows how some people can be dishonest and still get away with it. This Htown mechanic is the same as Mobile Mechanics Hamilton. Both are the same business.My car is the Purple Mazda Verisa. If you going to say that you don’t know me. My insurance have records so does the police.BEWARE. If you go to this mechanic, please ask about the price and record the conversation. Make sure that you have evidence so they cannot take advantage of you. If he takes your car, locks the gate and demands money that was not in the discussion, gather your evidence and report it to the police.
